If there’s one thing about Cardi B, is that she will always tell the truth, no matter how unfiltered. The “Bodak Yellow” rapper appeared on the Call Her Daddy podcast and addressed the circulating rumors that NFL star Stefon Diggs broke up with her over a bad-smelling BBL (Brazilian buttlift).
Carbi B set the record straight on the podcast, saying, “The way this a*s be getting eaten, it can’t be.”
“The thing about me is, I’m very, very an*l. Funny,” she said while laughing at the pun. “I’m very an*l about how I smell. You know what I’m saying. I don’t know who made the rumors that BBL stinks, but it’s like it doesn’t f*cking stink. How would a BBL stink if you don’t got no open wounds?”
“Why, because your a*s is fatter? You can’t clean a fat a*s?! You don’t know how to clean a fat a*s,” she added. “I do.”
The Sun originally published an article about a young woman who got a BBL done and admitted to a foul-smelling odor that caused her boyfriend to dump her. Multiple outlets published similar articles, like The New York Post and Vice. It later created a celeb connection to Cardi B, despite both her and Diggs confirming they have never broken up since being in a relationship.
She and Diggs started dating rumors in October 2024, before making their relationship official on Valentine’s Day 2025. The couple is expecting their first child together.
On the podcast, while wearing Digg’s football jersey, she reveals having gotten a butt reduction. She explains how people still comment on the size of her backside, but have no idea that she had already gotten surgery, and a piercing.
“I look at myself in the mirror and it’s like I really wouldn’t change a thing. Maybe I would like my butt to be smaller, but it’s like I said, it’s really hard for my butt to be smaller,” she shared.
While people have told her to reduce it even more, she admits it’s not an easy procedure to get done again. To do so, she would “literally sit on a table, get cut from the bottom, get cut from the top, and be embarrassed for like three months.”
Cardi B stands by her body and doesn’t care what others think and is “comfortable.”
