Dumped Islander Megan Forte Clark has called out Love Island for the way the edit has, in her view, completely changed the meaning of a line she said on the show. Megan has been quite vocal towards how Love Island made her come across in the edit since she’s been dumped from the show, but this clip in particular sees the very vocal Irish diva call out the show for allegedly changing the meaning of a savage line she said about one of the other cast members and making it apparently be about someone else? Megan Forte Clarke was talking to Capital about various lines said on Love Island, and she revealed that one line that was deemed as a “mean girl” comment has, in her opinion, been an edit from the show which has changed its original meaning.
Megan says in the TikTok “‘Boring, sloppy, lazy, onto the next’ – this is me. But I was actually talking about Harry. Talking to Helena about Harry, saying ‘yawn, boring, sloppy, lazy’ when he went to the hideaway with Yasmin. But it has been cut to say ‘Yasmin, boring, sloppy, lazy, onto the next.’ I love Yasmin. I do not hate Yasmin. Me and Yasmin get on really well. Literally, an Abby Lee Miller quote I wouldn’t use that to insult someone. I think I called Harry a pr*ck as well – I would never call a female a pr*ck. I can come up with better things than that.”
It’s not the first time Megan has called out the Love Island edit either, although this is quite specific about how the show allegedly changed the meaning of what she said. When she was dumped, she called out the show for editing her in a way that she says made her look bad regarding her situation with Tommy back towards the start of the show.
When approached for comment on the claims from Megan, ITV declined.
