UMÁN, Yucatán.- This Thursday morning, a subject was transferred to the barracks of the Municipal Police because tried to start a fire and attacked residents of a police station in this municipality with stones.
The information collected indicates that agents of the Umán Municipal Police received a report from a lawsuit on public roads in the Yaxcopoil police station.
The police moved to the place where the neighbors explained that a subject identified as GEAH, 30 years old, who was nicknamed “the devil,” poured gasoline on a motorcycle, owned by IABC, that was parked in front of G GPB’s house.

Subsequently, the subject set fire to a piece of cardboard and brought it close to the motorcycle with the intention of setting it on fire.
The neighbors, upon realizing what was happening, managed to put out the fire and called the Police.
At that moment, the subject began to throw stones at the house and the motorcycle, and managed to make a hole in the motorcycle’s gas tank, causing the gasoline to spill.
The same neighbors managed to stop the subject to prevent him from injuring anyone, and handed him over to the agents of the Municipal Police of Umán, who transferred him along with the motorcycle, a can of gasoline and a lighter to the Miguel Hidalgo barracks, where he was placed at the disposal of the Legal Department for subsequent transfer to agency 27 of the Public Ministry based in Umán.
