The latest massive scandal to hit this year’s Love Island is here, and it’s all down to a leaked voice note that’s gone mega viral which allegedly shows Casa Amor bombshell Lucy revealing her game plan for the show before she went into the villa. Whilst there is some contention about the voice note and where it came from, the actions of Lucy in Love Island so far completely add up to the voice note plan – and the saga has now been discussed on Love Island Aftersun. So, it’s a mess. And the drama is fascinating.
Here’s what you need to know about the whole saga – and what got said about it on Aftersun as former Islanders and even Maya Jama as the host weighed in on all the tea.

The voice note has done the rounds on Twitter and TikTok, and allegedly you can hear Lucy discussing going onto the show before the show debuted her in Casa Amor. The voice note says “Hey gorg, I’m fine how are you? Got a phone call today saying they want to fly me out on Tuesday or Monday. They said to me on Sunday they’ll let me know 100 per cent, but it looks like I’m going on on one of those days. So, they were like get your stuff packed basically. I said, ‘I’m already packed love’.
“They asked me my top three boys, and I told them I want Tommy. I feel like if I’m with Tommy I’ll get all the way to the end cause everyone loves him. I don’t know if you’ve been watching but that Megan has been sent home, and I’m f*cking made up. She’s been sent home because of the way she’s treated Tommy. I’m made up I’ve been watching it because I know how to act, and she’s been a little slapper in there the public have voted her out.
“I just need to be a nice girl and stick with Tommy.”
It got discussed on Aftersun last night
Whilst the comment sections of the voice note from Lucy were not entirely full of Love Island viewers convinced it was from her, the fact that last night it was discussed on Aftersun with Maya Jama, Amy Hart, Sam Thompson and Indiyah Polack has made the voice note move away from something I thought the show wouldn’t directly acknowledge.
On Aftersun last night, Maya Jama asked the panel if they thought Lucy was a good match for Tommy. The panel all exchange looks, and then Amy says “There’s been some tea, actually. There is a voice note that’s on all of the socials – apparently from Lucy before she went in. She says that her plan is to go in and stick with Tommy to make it to the end. And all she’s got to do is be a nice girl and she’ll get to the end.”
Maya and Sam both respond saying “wild.”
Amy then explains how there’s been support for Lucy, saying “Do you think any of those Islanders haven’t had those conversations with their friends?” Maya Jama then says “They just don’t have snakey friends that are exposing them.”
Amy then says “Be careful who you send your voice notes to.
Sam and Maya then both say they have no actual factual proof that it is Lucy, but Maya then says “that’s what the streets are saying.”
