Mexico City.- Adán Payambé López Hernándezson of the senator of the Republic, Adam Augusto Lopez Hernandez He allegedly lived in an apartment located in Champs Elysees —in Paris—while studying a cinematography course. But living there is not for everyone, since a monthly income cannot be achieved for less than 3,700 euros—that is, about 79,000 Mexican pesos.
However, if a student decides to study in Mexico City, the rental price is around 10 thousand pesos per month, not to mention that many foreigners must share accommodation to minimize expenses. On the other hand, studying in Mexican institutions, such as the National School of Cinematographic Arts (ENAC), is practically free, since the costs of the exams do not exceed one thousand pesos and the re-registration fees are minimal.
The Champs Elysees avenue is located between the Place de la Concorde and the Arc de Triomphe, in the VIII Arrondissement of Paris, and is known as the most expensive avenue in the capital, for housing some of the most important fashion and luxury stores as well as very high rents. It is presumed that the type of accommodation—apartment—where Adán Payambé lived belonged to Manuel Pinto, husband of Adriana del Carmen Estrada Rodríguez, sister of the senator’s wife.
The cinematography course was part of the Bribe’s French Civilization Courses – CCFS, for its French acronym -, that is, a century-old institution whose objective is the dissemination of the French language, its teaching and improvement among non-native students. The institution offers online and in-person courses, which start at 240 euros (5,150 pesos), depending on the type of teaching and thematic content of the program.
The CCFS headquarters is located on Boulevard Raspail, in the Montparnasse neighborhood, an important cultural and artistic point of Paris. Therefore, Adán Payambé had to take a journey of between 30 minutes and an hour, given the location of the Champs Elysees Avenue.
The city of light is not foreign to the family, since Senator López Hernández himself completed postgraduate studies in the capital of France.
