The municipal president Adolfo Cerqueda Rebollo presented the most relevant advances in infrastructure, mobility, urban development, health and education, highlighting that Nezahualcoyotl continues to take firm steps towards its transformation and better quality of life for its inhabitants.

Within the framework of his Government Report 2025in terms of health, Cerqueda Rebollo reported that, in coordination with the Ministry of Health and the IMSS-Wellbeing, immediate attention was provided in areas affected by the rains. As part of these actions, 580 medical consultations were granted, 3,312 vaccines were administered and more than 1,300 medications were delivered.

In addition, he highlighted that the Comprehensive Plan for the East of the State of Mexico contemplates the construction of a Zone General Hospital, the reopening of the IMSS Clinic-Hospital 25 and the creation of a Child Care and Education Center, works that will benefit thousands of families.

Regarding public works, the mayor detailed that during 2025 the Tuneando Neza program reached 77,502 m² rehabilitated, achieving a cumulative total of 119,962.5 m² of pavement in 38 works, equivalent to 15.23 kilometers of renovated roads. These works have impacted 19 primary roads and 684 sections of apple trees distributed in the 100 quadrants of the 54 neighborhoods of the municipality.

He recalled that in May the Bachetón program began, promoted as part of the Comprehensive Plan of the East, through which 60,200 m² of road surface were recovered, that is, 342.7 kilometers of rehabilitated streets.

Added to this is the delivery of a repaving train by the Ministry of Infrastructure, Communications and Transportation, a tool that allows a block to be repaved in just four days, significantly accelerating the work.
