Four Guatemalan members of the Sinaloa Cartel were arrested after attacking elements of the Federal Forces.
The above was announced by the Attorney General’s Office of Chiapas, which reported that, during a security tour, elements of the Army, National Guard, local Security Secretariat, and the Prosecutor’s Office itself tried to arrest a subject in possession of a firearm, who attacked them and then took refuge in a nearby home.

“Where the presence of other people on the roof was noticed, who also began to fire firearms at the uniformed officers. After a few minutes, they tried to escape by jumping to an adjacent property, on a laminate, where 2 of the attackers suffered injuries,” detailed the Chiapas agency.
After which Ángel “N”, Rolando “N”, Ervin “N”, Mario R “N” and Mario “N” from Guatemala were arrested and said they were part of the Sinaloa Cartel; These people and one more were detained and in possession of 1 long weapon caliber 7.32×39 mm, with a partially supplied magazine.
As well as 6 7.62×39 mm caliber long weapons, with partially supplied magazines, and a .45 caliber short weapon, equipped with a magazine supplied with 10 useful cartridges, as well as a briefcase with 12 supplied metal magazines; 2 trucks and 2 motorcycles were also seized.
In the case of Rolando “N” and Ervin “N”, both were taken to a hospital to receive medical attention, where they remain in custody.
The insured and the detainees remained at the disposal of the corresponding Public Ministry to continue the investigation.
