On December 10, 2025, the Piers Morgan Uncensored YouTube channel uploaded footage of the titular host interviewing Sharon Osbourne. Since Morgan and Sharon judged America’s Got Talent together, they have remained remarkably loyal to each other. As a result, it makes sense that Sharon chose to open up for the first time about one of the most meaningful moments of her life while talking with her friend.

At roughly the 11-minute mark of the video of Sharon’s appearance on Morgan’s show, she described the final words that she and Ozzy shared together while fighting to hold back tears. “The night before he passed, he was up and down to the bathroom all night, and it was like 4:30 a.m., and he said, ‘Wake up.’ I said, ‘I’m already bloody awake, you’ve woken me up.’ And he said, ‘Kiss me,’ And then he said, ‘Hug me tight.’”

In response to that revelation, an unusually soft-spoken Morgan asked Sharon how she learned that Ozzy had passed away. Sharon then described the moment that she learned something was wrong and how she protected Ozzy even after he passed. “He used to get up early and he would say, ‘I’ve got to go down and work out.’ And he went downstairs, worked out for, uh, 20 minutes and passed away… [I heard] screaming in the house and I ran downstairs and there he was and they were trying to resuscitate him and I’m like, ‘Don’t. Leave him. Leave him. You can’t. He’s gone.’ I knew instantly, ‘He’s gone.'”

As their highly emotional conversation continued, Morgan asked Sharon how she felt after Ozzy’s passing, which led to her describing the regrets she felt. “If only I’d have told him I loved him more. If only I’d have held him tighter.”

While learning about Sharon and Ozzy’s last conversation and its aftermath, it is heartbreaking to know that she has regrets about not holding him tighter and saying something different. That feeling of sorrow is only more profound while watching the footage of Sharon looking so emotional while telling that story. It is also easy to relate to Sharon feeling that way, since most people have someone in their life that they wish they could talk to one more time, so they can say something profound.

On the other hand, it feels impossible to not marvel at the fact that after decades together, Sharon and Ozzy ended their time together with a hug and kiss. That is a beautiful way for one of the longest-lasting celebrity relationships of all time to have ended. From everything that is known about Sharon and Ozzy’s relationship, it is clear that she worked hard to protect him throughout their decades together. As a result, it also feels right that Sharon told the paramedics to let Ozzy pass peacefully.

Nobody will ever be able to tell Sharon how to feel about the day that Ozzy passed away. However, now that she has told that story, the only thing observers can do is hope that she eventually feels at peace and can focus on the aspects of that tragic event that sound beautiful from afar.
