AIKEN COUNTY, Sc. (WJBF)- Aiken County Career and Technology Center will host its fourth annual community night.
This night is for students, parents, staff, and community partners to come together and interact with each other.
It’s an opportunity for businesses to showcase their internships and what they have to offer.
And it’s time for students to showcase their programs as well.
“The students just really enjoy it. It’s a great time for our students to be able to showcase their programs and just show their love for what they do. So the teachers are there. They’ll have demonstrations. And I always say, come on out. Food trucks are there to,” said Office Counselor, Dr. Ashanti Friels-Paz.
And CTE District Program Specialist said this is a time to celebrate.
“We all come together, and we celebrate the current contributions of our kids, our students and our instructors at the Career Center and Career Technical Education, as well as our CTE programs across the district,” said Alvina Jackson.
The event is tonight from 4-7pm at the Aiken County Career and Technology Center.
