Aja explains the real reason she didn’t ‘slap’ Mistress during their huge Drag Race fight

Last week, we saw one of the most intense arguments ever seen on Drag Race, as Mistress Isabelle Brooks crossed the line with Aja and got in her face as she tormented her in the Werk Room. Whilst it might all be water under the bridge now, most fans were shocked at how far Mistress went when trying to provoke and get a reaction out of Aja – who handled the whole thing extremely calmly. People were shocked at the maturity and restraint Aja had not going absolutely off at Mistress, and now she has explained more about how she handled herself during that major Drag Race fight on All Stars 10.

Aja has now revealed there was actually one major reason that helped her be very calm for the fight that might surprise you after all!

‘I was her chosen victim’

Speaking at the Roscoe’s Tavern viewing party, aka the place where everything good goes down when it comes to Drag Race gossip, Aja explained in detail about how she feels regarding the entire Drag Race fight with Mistress Isabelle Brooks.

“Mistress just loves to play games. It’s all fun and games with her. I don’t think she has bad intentions, I just think she takes sh*t too far. From the moment we got there, I was her chosen victim. That first Untucked every five seconds she was like ‘are you ready for the bottom? You’re in the bottom. You’re going home.’

“You know when sibling’s children are doing too much and you don’t wanna hit them cause they’re not your kids? I was like oh here we go again. But when we got to that moment I was really irritated, but I was really high. Because Jorgeous, we were about to go to the studio and she pulled out these tiny blunts.

“People everywhere are like ‘I don’t know how you didn’t slap the sh*t out of her’, but I couldn’t. B*tch, I was too high! I had to take a second to really analyse what had happened.”

Jorgeous then agrees and says “I was sh*tting my pants. Normally I’m a Mistress apologist, but I was uncomfortable.”
