Aldi Is Selling a Sleek New Acacia Wood Lazy Susan That Looks Like a Crate & Barrel Style Over 5x the Price – Bundlezy

Aldi Is Selling a Sleek New Acacia Wood Lazy Susan That Looks Like a Crate & Barrel Style Over 5x the Price

Good quality wood kitchen products are notoriously expensive, and tremendously popular. If you look at any of the home goods retailers, you will find a sea of wooden trays, boards, bowls, chargers and other goods, and generally they carry a hefty price tag. That’s why we love when Aldi drops dupes that are well-made, but with a much more affordable price tag.

This Aldi Find is a Crofton Acacia Wood Lazy Susan that can be used in various ways this fall season. It can display cooking items, like oil and vinegar, salt and pepper wells and spices. Or it can showcase kitchen decor and gear like a mortar and pestle, high-end spice grinders and clear canisters with dried legumes and coffee beans.

Likely the most popular use for a lazy susan is storing pantry goods for ease of turning and grabbing what you need without having to pull everything out of the cabinet first. We like to use ours for smaller bottled goods like vinegars, specialty oils and extracts as well as spice mixes we don’t use every day.

Some fans are using it as a charcuterie board when serving a crowd. Whether it’s adorning fresh veggies and fruit, breads and crackers, cheeses and cured meats or dips and chips, this board can really do everything.

Aldi’s version is nearly identical to a Crate and Barrel style that’s over 5-times the cost, which makes the find even more enticing. The Crate and Barrel version is also made of acacia wood, and is slightly larger at 20-inches, while the Crofton version is 18-inches.

Their wood grain is quite similar, and when taken care of as suggested, should maintain just the same. Aldi suggests using a damp cloth to wipe clean and not to submerge in water. It should be patted dry with a kitchen towel and stored in a well-ventilated space, out of direct sunlight to avoid deformation and discoloration.

The Crate and Barrel lazy susan retails for $79.95, while the Aldi Find is just $14.99. Both feature a bottom that swivels for ease and convenience of retrieving the ingredient or item you need.

When Aldi launched this lazy susan last year, fans were thrilled with it. “I use mine for a charcuterie board when I entertain for 20 or more. Love it”, said one commenter on Facebook. “This countertop lazy Susan is the best! I love Acacia wood. It turns silently as well and [is] perfectly balanced”, exclaimed another.

If you’re interested in a modern and handy lazy susan, we recommend showing up at your nearest Aldi store on Wednesday, September 3, as that’s when this product will drop. As with all Aldi Finds, it won’t last long.
