This time of year we’re constantly keeping our eyes peeled for items that make entertaining easier and more appealing to the eye. With the upcoming holidays, we need to have all of the essentials stocked in our kitchens so we’re ready for a party or gathering at any moment.
That may include a large lazy Susan that can serve charcuterie to a large crowd, an artisan bread making kit so we can make homemade sourdough for family and friends or a new Dutch oven so we can make pot roast for a dinner party, and Aldi certainly has us taken care of.

One item that caught our eye is their new Bread Board and Knife Set. Its long, thin build with built-in grooves will make slicing that sourdough bread a breeze. The grooves allow you to cut uniform-sized slices of bread or a straight line on your bagel. It’s designed to be the perfect size for a loaf of bread and comes fitted with a handle and loop so you can hang it for storage or display it in your kitchen.
Aldi is Selling a Bread Board and Knife Set for $12.99
The other half of the set is a bread knife. It has a wooden handle with a notched knife blade, perfect for slicing bread and baked goods. We can see using this to slice a tender muffin, fluffy bagel or scone in half so you can slather butter, jam or peanut butter inside.
It could also display a mini board with cured meats, cheeses, fresh fruits and vegetables, nuts and seeds, dried fruits, olives and cornichons, crackers and dippers and preserves and spreads at your next gathering.
Not only is it perfect for all of these occasions, it is also selling for a steal at $12.99. It’s nearly identical to a name brand bread board and knife set sold at Target for $59.99 (currently $44.99 on sale). We think the Aldi one is a steal and will certainly be utilized in our kitchens. It would also make a stellar gift for the cooks and bread bakers in your life.
Aldi’s Bread Board and Knife Set will show up in stores on September 17. It’s an Aldi Finds, limited-time item, so it won’t hang around on shelves for long.
