One of the most common complaints in a kitchen is not having a ton of room for storage. Whether that’s trying to stuff several small appliances into a cupboard or add another gadget to a utensil drawer, people are constantly looking for ways to save space and downsize.
This new Find from Aldi is probably the best $4 you’ll spend this week. And that’s not just because it’s inexpensive, but because it’s functional and space-saving. This Crofton Roll-Up Cooling Rack can be used to rest baked goods (think a muffin tin, loaf of bread or cake) or a pot of soup, casserole dish or savory dip that just popped out of the oven.
It has silicone edges with metal slats in between, measures 9 x 12-inches and comes in a light green color. It’s dishwasher safe, so if it gets a little messy, just pop it in with your next load and let it come out sparkly clean.
Or if it just needs rinsed off in the sink, it’s easy to hang over a dish rack to dry or towel dried. Once you’re done with it, it can simply be rolled up and popped into a drawer without worry that you won’t be able to close it.

We also think this cooling rack can be used to dry small handwashed dishes and produce or as a trivet to rest dishes on as they cool off from cooking. I used it with a kitchen towel underneath to let my garden cucumbers and tomatoes dry after I rinsed them off, and it worked like a charm.
I truly believe this tool is mutli-functional and a catch-all and probably has more uses than my imagination can dream up. And just like all Aldi Finds, this gadget will likely only be around for a limited-time. Last year they flew off shelves in no time, so be sure to grab one on August 20 when they drop in stores.
