Aldi periodically launches kitchen gear and equipment at a more affordable price than the name brand alternatives. We’ve seen food processors, mini blenders, slow cookers and frothers in the Finds aisle, and they’re usually a big hit with customers.
This week, Aldi is dropping the Ambiano 3-in-1 Immersion Hand Blender, and it’s perfect timing for soup season. Immersion blenders, sometimes called a hand blender or stick blender, allow you to puree food right in its container, whether that’s a pot, pan or other dish. It removes the step of pouring the soup or sauce into a pitcher blender, which can often be laborious and dangerous if it’s a hot item.
I’ve used my immersion blender to whip up cold foam to pour on top of an iced latte, to make homemade mayonnaise and whipped cream and to finish my favorite tomato basil soup. And I love that this little gadget fits snuggly inside a drawer rather than taking up a ton of cupboard space. In other words, immersion blenders are a time- and space-saver and incredibly convenient.
Aldi Is Selling an Immersion Blender With Whisk Attachment For $15
This hand blender features a handle with power and control buttons with a detachable metal end with a sharp blade underneath that purees the food. It also comes with a whisk attachment for beating eggs or batter or whisking a dressing. While Aldi hasn’t published details on this blender yet, most immersion blender attachments are dishwasher safe.
They’ll be available in black, white or light green this year, and will retail for $14.99. In the past they’ve sold immersion blenders with a bowl at a higher price point, but this year that’s not the case.

Past reviews have been mostly positive, and I don’t think Aldi would bring back these hand blenders without reason. One person commented “yes! you will continually find new ways to use it- a world of sauces and soups will unfold before you!” in response to a Reddit query on whether or not the Ambiano hand blender was worth it.
“Yes! I love it. It works well and I love that it doesn’t take up much space in my already super cramped kitchen cabinets”, exclaimed another.
This handy appliance will drop in the Finds aisle on September 3. Be sure to grab one if you think you’ll be whipping up a pot of creamy butternut squash soup this fall.
