Aldi’s kitchen gadgets have become exceptionally popular, with new and returning items flying off shelves faster than ever. They often offer expensive dupes, but with a more affordable price tag and similar functionality and design. We’ve seen squash scoops, garlic presses, pizza cutters, immersion blenders, cast-iron cookware and lazy susans that have come and gone in the blink of an eye.
One of the latest Finds on their list is the Ambiano Electric Gravity Salt & Pepper Mill Set. Once you pop batteries inside each canister, fill them with coarsely ground salt and black peppercorns, you simply tilt the shakers over the food and it’ll add seasoning until you tilt it back up. It’s simply an easy way to add salt and pepper to your food, either while you’re cooking or before you dig in at the table.
Aldi Is Bringing Back Their Popular Electric Gravity Salt & Pepper Grinders For $13
While Aldi hasn’t revealed the exact specs on the set yet, they have had this in the Finds section before, and many people took to social media to share info and detail their experience. A video by @keep_it_organised showed exactly how to unpack, set up and use the shakers. It appears the box comes with both grinders, a sheet of labels in various fonts and 3 AA batteries for each grinder.
After placing the batteries in, they filled each with coarse salt and black peppercorns using a small silicone funnel (we’re hoping this comes along with the set). It seems like a pretty easy setup and we’re glad to see it came with everything you need to get them working.

What Are Shoppers Saying?
Commenters were thrilled to see how the salt and pepper grinders work. “Wow! I want these!”, said one person. “I have a set myself, love them”, exclaimed another. “I’m going to try and get my hands on them tomorrow at Aldi”, stated another.
Aldi’s website shows the mill set comes in black and white as well as a set adorned in two shades of green. It retails for $12.99, and we think that’s a great deal considering a nearly identical set is selling at Walmart for over $50.
If you’re interested in the Electric Gravity Salt & Pepper Mill Set, September 24 is the day to buy them, as they won’t stick around long.
