Viewers will know that Carl and Abi have been having an affair, and they’ve managed to keep it mostly under wraps so far.
Unfortunately, Tracy Barlow (Kate Ford), otherwise known as the last person you’d trust to keep a secret, caught them and has since been blackmailing them.
However, Abi is relieved next week to discover that Tracy has dropped her blackmailing scheme and goes to thank her in person.
It comes as quite a shock to her when Tracy admits that she didn’t have much choice after Carl hired someone to trash the florist and threatened her dad.

As the week progresses, and Kevin Webster (Michael Le Vell) gets good news at his cancer check-up, Abi realises where her heart truly lies and decides to break up with him.
Kevin is heartbroken, and Abi tells Carl she thinks it is best if they run away together. It is at this point that Debbie barges in… How will things play out?
Elsewhere, Asha Alahan (Tanisha Gorey) is horrified when she bumps into Naomi, the woman who spat at her while she tried to help her in her role as a paramedic.
Meanwhile, Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) faces Danielle Silverton (Natalie Anderson) in court, but the proceedings are later overshadowed by some shocking news.

To make matters worse, Theo is left devastated when Millie points out that she and Miles are only staying with him because they’re legally required to.
Across the cobbles, Carla Connor (Alison King) struggles to adapt to having a third person in her relationship, following the resurrection of Lisa Swain’s (Vicky Myers) late wife Becky (Amy Cudden).
Carla isn’t the only Connor with relationship woes, as Jenny (Sally Ann Matthews) takes matters into her own hands when George Shuttleworth (Tony Maudsley) ditches lunch with her in favour of cleaning the undertaker’s.
However, when Jenny arrives, mop in hand, she is shocked to see that he has already enlisted Christine Midgeley’s (Amy Robbins) help.
