The events of this past week send a ripple effect through Coronation Street next week as answers are sought and showdowns are aplenty.
Still reeling from the fact that her former flame Becky is very much alive, DS Lisa Swain (Vicky Myers) is quite rightly on a quest for answers.
In tense scenes set to hit screens next week, the detective corners boss Costello at work, demanding that he tell her the truth – or else!
Meanwhile, Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) makes it quite clear that he’s got his eye on Carl Webster (Jonathan Howard) as a dramatic face-off ensues between the two at the corner shop.
Elsewhere, Tyrone Dobbs (Alan Halsall) recovers in hospital following the devastating hit-and-run incident, with Evelyn Plummer (Maureen Lipman) by his side.
If all of that sounds right up your street then you’re in luck as we’ve got three brand new clips to share with you, previewing next week on the cobbles.
Monday September 15
Lisa enters Costello’s office in search of answers about what he and Becky were up to. Costello reckons the station isn’t the right place for such questions but Lisa persists, locking his office door to ensure they’re not interrupted.
To further reiterate how serious she is, Lisa threatens to go the press if she’s not satisfied with what he has to say. Will she get the answers she needs?
Wednesday September 17
Carl is seething when Kit approaches him in the corner shop and winds him up, making it clear that he’ll be keeping a watchful eye on him from here on out.
With Fiona wanting to meet later, dodgy Carl is filled with dread. Can he throw Kit off the scent?
Friday September 19
Tyrone is still reeling in the wake of the hit-and-run as he vents to Evelyn about being put in this position. Evelyn sympathises and worries about the strain the situation will have on Fiz though she makes it clear that she and Cassie will do whatever they can to help out.
Coronation Street airs Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays at 8pm on ITV1 or stream from 7am on ITVX and YouTube.
