
EastEnders is lining up a huge week for Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker), when he is attacked by one of his neighbours.
The neighbour in question is Oscar Branning (Pierre Moullier), who is desperate for cash after another run-in with Fat Mike (Tai Hilferink).
He discovers that Patrick has won whopping amount of cash at the bookies, and it would answer all of his problems.
Sneaking into the Fox-Trueman house by torchlight, he gets his hands on the cash – accidentally knocking Patrick unconcious.
Elsewhere, Joel Marshall (Max Murray) spirals in the wake of some news about his estranged mother.
After stealing booze from The Vic and then lashing out at both Kat Moon (Jessie Wallace) and Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner), it becomes clear that the teen’s problems are far from over.
When Joel’s dad Ross (Alex Walkinshaw) fails to rein him in, Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig) is at a loose end.
Elsewhere, Avani Nandra-Hart’s (Aaliyah James) pregnancy secret is on the brink of exposure, Callum Highway (Tony Clay) ups his flirting came with Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff) and Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) makes a surprising offer…

Monday, August 4
Despite Yolande’s better advice, Patrick and Howie take a cheeky punt at the bookies and luck out with a £6,000 win.
Things quickly sour when Howie has it out with Kim after overhearing her chatting about his money troubles to Denise.

Back at home, Yolande is fuming. She tears into Patrick for gambling behind her back and, in a shock move, calls off the wedding on the spot.
Trying to lift the mood, the family head to The Vic, completely unaware that something far more serious is brewing for Patrick…
Things go from bad to worse for Oscar when dodgy Mike shows up on his doorstep, demanding a whopping £5k to keep the Branning clan out of danger.
Desperate for cash, Oscar sets his sights on Ian, hoping he can get him involved in a dodgy new scheme. But when Ian sends him on his way, Oscar’s left with no choice but to spill the beans to Lauren.
In a truly terrible move, he then decides to break into the Fox-Trueman household in a bid to swipe Patrick’s winnings. But the plan goes wrong when Patrick catches him red-handed. In the scuffle to escape, Oscar shoves Patrick, knocking him unconscious onto the floor.

Avani and Suki gear up for her all-important 12-week scan, but there’s tension bubbling beneath the surface as Eve’s clearly not sold on Suki’s plan to raise the baby as their own.
When Vinny returns from Ash’s wedding, Eve firstly has a heart to heart with Avani before urging Suki to come clean and have a proper chat with her son about their recent troubles.
With the school holidays now underway, Ross brings Joel and Tommy along for a day at the Turpin Road timber yard – but it’s not long before alarm bells start ringing. After overhearing some choice language from the lads on site, Ross begins to worry the place might not be the best environment for the boys after all.
And just when he thinks things couldn’t get more stressful, Ross pales after getting a call from Joel’s mum…
Tuesday, August 5
Oscar is thrown into panic mode as Patrick lies unconscious on the floor. He goes to leg it, but just as he’s about to flee, Howie walks in. Thinking fast, Oscar ducks out of sight, then darts off. Luckily, Howie doesn’t catch a glimpse of him…
Moments later, Kim and Denise arrive back from the pub and are distraught at the situation. A devastated Yolande and the rest of the family rush to the hospital, fearing the worst for Patrick.

Across the Square, Lauren starts to grow suspicious of Oscar’s sudden concern for Patrick. And when she spots him trying to do a runner, she steps in – confronting him with the stolen cash.
Ross gives Joel the big news from his ex-partner – she’s getting remarried.Joel heads to The Vic to hang out with Tommy, but it’s not long before the lads are led astray and steal booze from the barrel store.
Ross, Vicki, Kat and Alfie discover what’s happened and rile at them for their behaviour, but Joel lashes out with a number of disparaging comments towards Kat, that leave the parents gobsmacked.
Elsewhere, Eve and Avani are quick to cover their tracks when Priya stumbles across a hospital receipt stuffed in Avani’s jacket. They spin a lie, hoping to throw her off the scent.

Meanwhile, Elaine’s feeling down about no longer having the pub to run, and opens up to Yolande about her troubles.
Wednesday, August 6
At the hospital, Yolande, Kim and Denise are on edge as they wait for news on Patrick’s condition. Tensions rise when the police arrive, asking Howie to give a witness statement.
Back in Walford, Oscar’s panic intensifies as officers begin door-to-door enquiries. Lauren tears into him over what he’s done, and with guilt closing in fast, Oscar prepares to do a runner.
Ross and Vicki lay into Joel after his behaviour towards Kat, with Ross making a heartfelt attempt to connect with his son and find the root of his problems.

Things seem to turn a corner when the pair share a rare bonding moment. Joel shows Ross a video from his influencer idol, which Ross brushes off as harmless. However, later, Ross stumbles across something deeply troubling on Joel’s laptop – and in a moment of panic, he destroys it.
Elsewhere, Elaine gives a helping hand at The Prince Albert during a particularly busy time, and Cindy offers her the job of co-manager.

Thursday, August 7
Ross gives Joel the cold shoulder and bans him from coming to work, clearly still rattled by what he found. But when Vicki finds out the real reason behind Ross smashing the laptop, she’s stunned and wastes no time urging him to lay down the law before Joel’s behaviour spirals any further.

A chat with Harvey over a cuppa in the café leaves Ross with plenty to think about, as he weighs up how to handle his troubled son.
Later, Joel attempts to make amends with Kat, offering up an apology, and surprisingly, she lets him hang out with Tommy. But it’s not long for things to take a turn.
As Vicki and Stacey bond over parenting woes and men, Joel overhears and clearly doesn’t like what he hears. It’s not long before his true colours show…
Elsewhere, Callum flirts with Johnny over text, but puts his phone down long enough to enjoy a wholesome girls’ day with Lexi, doing his best to lift her spirits after a tough call from Ben.
Later, things get awkward when Jay clocks the messages on Callum’s phone and he’s far from impressed.
