With lives in danger and hearts on the line next week in Emmerdale, there’s certainly no shortage of drama in the Yorkshire Dales!
It’s a dangerous week for Dylan Penders (Fred Kettle) and April Windsor (Amelia Flanagan) when a dangerous drug drop spins completely out of control, potentially leaving them in (hot, like boiling hot water) with drug kingpin Ray Walters (Joe Absolom).
While Robert Sugden (Ryan Hawley) struggles with the impending loss of Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller), who’s unaware of the danger he’s placing himself in with John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth), Tracy Metcalfe (Amy Walsh) and Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) unite as their worlds continue to crumble.
That all sounds pretty juicy, doesn’t it? Well, to keep you going until next week, how about a boat load of spoilers? You can thank us later.
Monday, September 1

Ray holds Dylan’s feet firmly to the fire when he tasks him with a particularly dangerous drug drop. Concerned for her boyfriend, April offers to do the drop on his behalf.
As the time comes to complete the task, April arrives at the deal spot, but is terrified when a hooded man demand she hand over the bag full of drugs. April tries to stand strong, but when the man pulls a knife, she’s forced to acquiesce, and hands over the bag.
Dylan does his best to console a shaken April following the failed job, and desperately attempts to reassure her that Ray will understand what happened, but is he trying to convince her, or himself?
Tuesday, September 2

When Paddy Kirk (Dominic Brunt) resolves to ask Dylan to move back in, Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) is incensed and demands Dr. Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) evict Paddy.
Meanwhile, April and Dylan confess to Ray that they’ve lost his drugs.
Also today, Liam crosses Tracy at the shop and instantly notices her low mood.
As she opens up about her worries about being a single parent and her recurrent bouts of depression, Liam suggest more counselling, though her attention is driven elsewhere when he mentions that he doubts Owen could’ve overpowered Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter)
Wednesday, September 3

There’s chaos for the Dingles, the Sugdens and the Sugden-Dingles. Chas is crestfallen to learn that her son, Aaron is moving away permanently, though he stops short of informing her of his concerns over husband John’s behaviour, which are only intensified when John rushes away upon learning that Charity plans to contact the police regarding Mackenzie Boyd’s (Lawrence Robb) disappearance.
When Robert learns from sister Victoria Sugden (Isabel Hodgins) of ex-husband Aaron and brother/love rival John’s imminent move, he visits his ex-husband, determined to convince him he’s making a mistake. As the tension rises, Robert kisses Aaron, leaving him even more confused about the future.
Thursday, September 4

A jealous and spiralling John determines to ensure that Aaron becomes completely dependent on him and spikes a bottle of whisky. Aaron drinks from it and quickly falls under the influence of the drug. Pleased with the results, John retires to collect firewood, while an unaware Aaron pours himself another, completely unaware of what he’s ingesting and the danger he’s putting himself in.
Charity and Tracy come together, united in the grief of their lost loves. Charity laments at having to break her son’s heart by telling him that Mack has left, while Tracy is rattled when she learns that Mack broke up with Charity via voice note in hauntingly similar circumstances as Nate’s disappearance.
Friday, September 5

It’s a difficult day for Paddy, when he’s struck with a terrible realisation.
