Joe and Maeve’s relationship has been such a rollercoaster, honestly. The couple went from a very awkward wedding, to confessing their love for each other, to continuous tears. The MAFS cast aren’t allowed to reveal what happened in their marriages yet, so we don’t know for certain whether Joe and Maeve are done. But MAFS viewers have spotted several interactions they reckon could be clues as to whether Joe and Maeve are still together. Spoilers: It’s not looking good.
Exhibit A: They don’t follow each other on Instagram
Now, MAFS couples are under strict instructions not to blatantly reveal their relationship statues until the show has aired. Cast members aren’t supposed to wear their wedding rings, or go on very public dates with their MAFS spouses. So, whether or not a couple follows each other on Insta isn’t a certain sign of whether they’re together. But it does seem pretty sus that Joe and Maeve aren’t following each other.
Neither Joe or Maeve have posted a single pic of the two of them together. Usually, even rocky MAFS couples will drop their wedding photos, or images of their fits at dinner parties, or tense commitment ceremony couch sessions. Joe and Maeve haven’t shared any in this vein.

Exhibit B: Her social media posts are giving post-break-up
After the episode aired in which Maeve cried about Joe at the dinner party, she shared an Instagram post which didn’t directly address the drama, but talked about “self-growth”.
Maeve wrote that “these past few months have been such a journey of growth, reflection, and finding myself again”. Apparently, her “confidence was knocked” and she “lost that spark”. Maeve also thanked her family and friends. She wrote: “You’ve reminded me that’s okay to start over, to rebuild, and to rise stronger than before.”

Exhibit C: Has anybody seen them in the same room?
Plenty of the 2025 MAFS gang seem to be hanging out together in the present day. The girlies keep meeting up. Maeve is constantly making TikToks with Keye. Now, I get that MAFS cast members can’t really post pics with just them and their spouse in the present day. But at a Thorpe Park event, both Davide and Keye, and then Leah and Leigh were in the same group pictures. Bailey and Rebecca have attended the same events.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but I’ve yet to see Joe at any of these big meet-ups. Maybe he’s always busy. Or maybe Maeve and Joe had a dramatic break-up and don’t want to be in the same room as each other.
Exhibit D: Comments from other cast members
A few days ago, Maeve posted a cryptic TikTok with the caption “You think you know… but you have no idea.” Grace commented: “Tea brewing”. Does this hint that the drama with Joe will escalate?
Keye has essentially become Maeve’s personal cheerleader, and has posted several stories in praise of how “iconic” she is. You’d think that if Maeve and Joe were still together, Keye might have set one remotely positive thing about his bestie’s boyfriend? I’m just spitballing here x
