Katy Perry is not the only musical novelty announced this Thursday for Rock in Rio Lisboa 2026: Calema and Napa will also perform, like the North American, on July 20th, dedicated to pop.
The 2026 edition will also feature an aerial show prepared specifically for Rock in Rio Lisboa, called “The Flight”. It will take place next to Palco Mundo, the main concert space, and will be made up of “five planes that will perform acrobatics, synchronized with colored smoke and traditional fireworks”. This new feature will take place on every day of the event, between 8pm and 9pm.
Roberta Medina, vice-president of Rock in Rio, also revealed that “Cidade do Rock has become bigger”, increasing 25 thousand m² of occupancy in the Tagus Park area. According to Medina, the clearings in front of the various stages will also be larger. The Tagus Stage will be renamed the Super Bock Stage (that’s where Napa performs) and will have space to accommodate 30 thousand people.
Due to the World Cup, the festival will have a space dedicated to football, called Arena Futebol and the Corporate Village will also debut, a space that will host company events or work meetings.
