MÉIDA.- State authorities would be investigating the son of a Yucatecan businessman by attempt to homicide y gender violence committed against a elderly womanwife of the businessman.
According to information obtained from police sources, the events occurred at the beginning of October within a private clinic in the Itzaes Avenueat the height of the García Ginerés colony.
Alleged attempted murder in Mérida is under investigation
According to reports, the victim would be a woman of about 70 years of age and identified as S. L. B.businessman’s wife A. Z. M.
The latter, on the day of the events, began to feel ill while he was at home, in a private part of the Montebello subdivisionso he was transferred to a hospital accompanied by the woman.
While there, the businessman’s children would have arrived, who complained to the victim about the man’s state of health.
One of them, identified as RZE, pulled the woman, hit her against a wall several times and headbutted her in the foreheadcausing a cutting wound that had to be treated and sutured in the same hospital.
The woman would have gone to the State Attorney General’s Office to file a complaint, it was recorded in the investigation folder FGE/UNADT-2629/262.which would be integrated without stopping.
Unofficially, it was learned that, after receiving the complaint, the Prosecutor’s Office had given protection measures to the victim.
It is expected that, if the law is applied, the son of a businessman would be detained to face charges of attempted homicide, gender violence and dispossession.
