Since last October 10, the original town of San Bartolo Ameyalco reported to the mayor’s office Alvaro Obregon the landslide of the street on which Muitles Street is located and that reaches the corner of Azoyapan Street. Because the highway is a key point in local mobility and towards the Cuajimalpa mayor’s office of Morelos, on October 13, the passage of wagons from route 4 (Muitles – El Yaqui) was prohibited, which impacted transfers. However, the road is still traveled by local vehicles and motorcycles, despite the fact that the landslide which was not completely repaired.
The population of San Bartolo Ameyalco insisted on attention with a letter on October 17, which has not been answered with attention from the government of Javier Lopez Casarin. According to the representatives of this community, it is almost a month since the landslide occurred and the letter was submitted to the Álvaro Obregón mayor’s office without rushing the repair.
The prompt demands requested by the inhabitants are the repair of the landslide to reactivate public transport mobility, in addition to starting repairs on the affected streets to prevent other incidents.
