Following Netflix’s three-part documentary series Amy Bradley Is Missing, Amy’s brother Brad has revealed her heartbreaking final words in a new interview.
The 23-year-old went missing during a Caribbean cruise en route to Curaçao in March 1998, on board the Royal Caribbean International cruise ship Rhapsody of the Seas.
She was declared dead in 2010, although no body has ever been found, and many including her parents are convinced Amy Bradley is still alive.
On 24th March 1998, Amy and her brother Brad went to a pool party together and then went to the ship’s disco. That was the last time he ever saw her.
Recalling their final moments to WWBT’s 12 On Your Side in a new interview, Brad said: “We go up there, spend several hours up there, talking to people and meeting people and having fun.”
After returning to the cabin, Amy started feeling seasick and decided to sleep on the room’s balcony. According to Brad, she said: “I’m going to stay out here on the chaise lounge and a lot of fresh air and wind. I don’t want to go in a closed room right now.”

Those were her final words, and her brother replied by telling her he loved her. When he woke up, the balcony door was open about 18 inches and Amy “wasn’t there anymore”.
“A shirt she was wearing was laid across one of the chairs in the room, so we know she came back into the room,” Brad said. “There’s a lot of haters online that say a lot of nasty things and basically say she’s gone, she fell over, she jumped over. I can guarantee those two things didn’t happen.”
He said the family are “gearing up for” an “avalanche of phone calls and emails” after the Netflix documentary that will hopefully help them finally find Amy.
“My parents and I share this gut feeling that she is still alive, however unrealistic that may be to a lot of people. We’re never going to give up,” he added. “If you don’t take opportunities and follow leads, you know you’ve given up on her, and we’re not going to do that.”
