Within 12 hours, the Gaza Strip witnessed a wave of intense Israeli raids targeting various areas in its north, center and south, resulting in the death of more than 100 martyrs, including about 46 children, and the injury of more than 250 others, according to the Ministry of Health.

Al Jazeera broadcast an interactive map that showed the areas targeted by the Israeli raids, including the bombing of displaced persons’ tents near Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah (central Gaza Strip), which led to the martyrdom of 6 civilians and those with chronic diseases.

In the south, intense raids included the Al-Mawasi areas in Khan Yunis and Rafah, in addition to continuous shelling by gunboats, resulting in dozens of martyrs and injuries, including about 20 martyrs in Khan Yunis alone.

Israeli warplanes bombed Al-Shati camp, west of Gaza City, and entire residential blocks in the areas of Yarmouk, Al-Sabra, and Al-Zaytoun in the same city, causing martyrs and injuries, and civil defense crews are still searching for missing persons under the rubble.

This escalation came after the Israeli occupation army announced the killing of a reserve soldier in an area near Rafah, and considered the wave of bombing a response to what it described as “a violation of the ceasefire and prisoner exchange agreement,” before it later announced its commitment to the agreement.

The interactive map showed the colors of the blue, yellow and red lines, which indicate the stages of withdrawal of Israeli forces, based on the ceasefire agreement and the deployment of the International Stabilization Force, in addition to the “buffer security zone.”

Israel continued its raids on the Gaza Strip, despite the entry into force of the ceasefire agreement between Hamas and Israel on October 10, according to a plan by US President Donald Trump and mediated by Qatar, Egypt and Turkey.

The Israeli raids led to the death of 211 Palestinians and the injury of 597 since the announcement of the agreement, according to the Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip.
