International lawyers and journalists from media platforms submitted reports on evidence of Israeli crimes to the symbolic Gaza court formed to investigate war crimes committed by Tel Aviv against Palestinians in the Strip.
On Saturday, the activities of the third day of the final session of the Gaza Court concluded in the conference hall at Istanbul University, headed by the former UN rapporteur on Palestine, Richard Falk, and it will issue its decision today, Sunday.
The third day’s sessions dealt with complicity in crimes, the international system, resistance and solidarity, followed by a general discussion.
A number of prominent academics and researchers participated in the sessions, including Professor Ardi Emses from Queen’s University in Canada, Darryl Lee from the University of Chicago in the United States, human rights lawyer Craig Mokhiber, and Professor Mary Calder from the London School of Economics and Political Science.

Testimonials
Representatives of the independent platform Witness Eye, which was created by journalists to digitally archive the testimonies of Palestinians in Gaza, stressed the importance of preserving evidence.
During the court session, a platform spokesperson explained that they had collected at least 100 witnesses, evidence and digital video clips over the past two years.
For his part, the representative of the Turkish Human Rights and Solidarity with the Oppressed Society stressed the importance of documenting events through testimonies.
The International Federation of Jurists submitted 13 detailed reports, collected over a period of 700 days, to the Gaza Court regarding Israeli crimes committed against civilians, journalists and institutions in Gaza.
A spokesman for the Union said that there are at least 250 crimes committed by the occupation forces against journalists. “We keep all the details related to them, and there are also reports of crimes committed by the occupation forces against civilians.”
He added, “They commit war crimes, occupy, and commit crimes against all of humanity. This is the responsibility of all of humanity.”

The Gaza Court is an independent international initiative founded by academics, intellectuals, human rights defenders, and representatives of civil organizations in the British capital, London, in November 2024, due to the international community’s complete failure to implement international law in the Gaza Strip.
The court held its first session in London, then held its first public session in the Bosnian capital, Sarajevo, last May.
Today, a final session will be held in which the members of the Gaza Court will review their general impressions, along with a review of the Sarajevo and Istanbul meetings, in preparation for announcing the court’s final decision.
It is noteworthy that academics, human rights defenders, media representatives and civil society organizations participate in the Gaza court to present their testimonies regarding the genocide in the Strip.
