If you’re a fan of the rarely seen two-seat sports car, Audi has a nice surprise for you. The German car company unveiled its newest addition to the upcoming lineup of releases, the Concept C, and its futuristic look, paired with a number of impressive features, is quickly grabbing attention.
While the Concept C has the look of a coupe, Audi revealed on its website that it features a “new roof concept” that allows the car to have an open-top experience as well. Also noteworthy is the fact that the Concept C is an all-electric two-seater, a unique addition and approach for most carmakers.
Audi Reveals Details of the Concept C and Additional Photos
Audi detailed its approach to creating the outside of the Concept C, while highlighting “the brand’s new design philosophy,” which will pave “the way for the future.” Among the many points from the company’s website, the car’s new vertical frame and unique body style are included.
“Audi introduces the Audi Concept C – an all-electric two-seat sports car that embodies the brand’s new design philosophy and paves the way for the future,” the Audi site detailed. “From every angle, the concept car demonstrates radical simplicity – the core of the new Audi design philosophy. The new Audi brand face features the vertical frame that reimagines the brand’s legacy and a distinctive four-element light signature. The roof concept offers the benefits of a convertible while retaining the essence of a monolithic body style.”
“High-quality materials demonstrate precision in every detail. A minimalist design ensures the interior is free from distractions. The subtle integration of technology and tactile controls create an intuitive and emotional experience.”

Regarding the Audi Concept C’s interior, the detailed breakdown included an interesting aspect of “subtly placing the driver at the center” of the car.
“The interior features strong architectural surfaces and clear geometric forms that ensure space for both occupants while subtly placing the driver at the center. Manufactured from anodized aluminum, physical controls provide a tactile experience that reflects mechanical quality – through their appearance, feel, and the unmistakable ‘Audi click,’” read the Concept C press release.
“The steering wheel forms the core of the refined tactile experience: its characteristics – the round shape, the sophisticated haptic elements, and the Audi rings made out of real metal in the center – are crafted with the utmost technical precision.”
Audi Concept C’s Technology Headlined by 10.4-Inch Foldable Center Display
The impressive look of the interior also comes with no shortage of toys and unique features. A few of the technology features of the Concept C include a unique center display, along with haptic controls on the steering wheel and center console.
“The display and operating concept are also aligned with this philosophy. The 10.4-inch foldable center display provides users with relevant information in an intuitive way and in context – tailored to every situation. Together with the haptic controls on the steering wheel and center console, the design achieves clarity and precision in user interaction – the controls are exactly where they are expected to be,” the Audi press release read.
During an interview with Edmunds, Audi CEO Gernot Döllner said the Concept C will be released in a “couple of years,” with the website citing a potential 2027 release.
