LOVE Island hunk Dejon Noel-Williams was questioned by police after he was accused of stealing a phone on a night out.
The semi-pro footballer, 26, who is set to star in the new series, was interviewed after a woman’s mobile was taken in London.

InstagramThe semi-pro footballer, 26, was interviewed after a woman’s mobile was taken in London[/caption]
It makes Dejon the second Islander this series to have been quizzed by cops, after The Sun yesterday revealed Kyle Ashman was held over a machete attack.
Both were released with no further action.
ITV was aware of the incident with Dejon when he secured his place on the dating show, a spokesman confirmed.
He spoke to cops alongside Kettering FC footballer Harlain Mbayo, who was ordered to carry out a community resolution, which can involve an apology or compensation.
The dispute was sparked over payment for food and an Uber taxi ride.
Personal trainer Dejon last night told The Sun: “I was never arrested.
“I voluntarily spoke to the police to clarify the truth about what happened in this incident, with no further action taken.
“To stress, my intentions here were entirely honourable and it is very upsetting to read claims that suggest otherwise.”
The Met Police said: “On March 16 at 04:05hrs officers responded to a report of a robbery in which a phone was taken.
“An investigation was launched and two men voluntarily took part in interviews. The victim’s phone was recovered and has been returned.
“No further action was taken against the 26-year-old man.”
ITV added: “We speak to our Islanders in advance of the show in addition to rigorous background screening, including DBS checks.”
2 weeks agoNew York StateComments Off on Father’s Day gift guide 2025: we tried and tested 28 items
CONSIDER yourself reminded: Father’s Day is on June 15th.
In our experience, at least, Father’s Day tends to sneak under the radar compared to Mother’s Day — mostly because dads pretend not to care what you get them.
That means its easy to fall into lazy habits like buying him the same gift every single year, or promising to take him for a meal or round of golf that never materialises.
We’ve done the hard work and tested some of the best gifts on the market, for every sort of father figure.
This might seem like an obvious choice, but it’s classic for a reason — perfume is a great way to show your dad that you know his tastes and personal preferences.
But if you’re unsure where to turn, we’d recommend leaning into the warm weather with something fresh and citrusy.
We’ve recently become big fans of Granado, Brazil’s oldest perfumier. There’s something distinguished about its history, tradition and branding, not to mention its beautiful scents.
The brand’s newest fragrance, Citrus Brasilis, is perfect for warmer, longer days. It’s full of fresh lemon on first spray, before settling into a slightly minty, floral scent. It’s like the first sip of a limoncello spritz (but, er, manly).
Plus, it comes in a beautiful yellow gift box, making it perfect for Father’s Day.
If you’re looking for something slightly cheaper, try the Limão and Neroli scent, which retails at just £60 for a huge 100ml bottle.
It’s perhaps not as citrus-heavy as the Citrus Brasilis, leaning more towards the soapy, floral scent of neroli.
You’ll be hard-pressed to find a nicer scent for the price.
His new go-to summer shirt
SuppliedThis understated linen blend overshirt from Uniqlo adds a touch of class to any summer outfit[/caption]
Dad dressing is at its very worst in summer. Garish floral shirts, odd headwear, deeply unfashionable sunglasses; it’s a minefield for all middle-aged men.
It comes with a 50s-style Cuban collar, which adds a touch of class without being off-puttingly “fashion-y”, and the mixture of linen and cotton means that it’s cool and breathable without the constant creasing you get from pure linen.
It also comes in five versatile colours, and is reasonably priced at under £40.
One note though: Uniqlo does tend to run large, so consider sizing down, especially if he’s between sizes.
If you have an active dad who lives in workout gear, we’d point you towards Gym + Coffee.
The brand creates workout and leisure gear that is designed to be worn in and out of the gym: it’s breathable, stretchy and form-fitting enough to see you through your workout, but flattering and stylish enough to see you through brunch or a pint after.
And at £30 for a tee and £60 for a quarter zip, while it’s perhaps not cheap, it’s not horribly expensive.
Sometimes, it’s life’s little luxuries that make the difference between a good day and a bad one. For example, putting on the comfiest pair of boxers in the entire world.
Enter these, from the bamboo clothing brand BAM. They’re made from 64% Bamboo Viscose, making them extremely soft and very breathable — the perfect material for boxers.
With their slightly longer-than-usual length and a range of 21 colours to choose from, these are a great gift for a dad who likes the finer things in life.
And at £22 per pair, they’re perhaps too expensive for someone to buy for themselves, but they’re affordable enough for a Father’s Day gift.
Our Head of Technology's pick
By Sean Keach, The Sun’s Head of Technology and Science
I’ve tested gadgets running into tens of thousands of pounds – but the product I seem to bang on about the most costs less than £100.
So if you love your dad and want him to also obsess over something you’ve bought him, snap up the Anker MagGo Wireless Charging Station (Foldable 3-in-1).
I raved about this portable charger in myAnker MagGo reviewlast year. It’s basically a pocket-sized foldable charging station that lets you power up not one but three gadgets at once.
At first glance, it looks like a useless flat slab. But you can fold out the back to charge anApple Watch, and flip apart the centre to juice up a pair ofAirPods.
Then youriPhonesnaps to the front panel magnetically. That means it also enables Apple’s coolStandBy modethat turns your mobile into a bedside table clock.
I take this gadget absolutely everywhere with me. Your dad will too.
Anker MagGo 3-in-1 Wireless Charging Station, £99.99 from Amazon – buy here
This would certainly be for a very specific type of dad, but if you’re buying for a wellness fiend — or simply someone trying to cut down their caffeine intake — this could be a great gift.
With 80% less caffeine than a regular cup, DIRTEA’s Mushroom Coffee delivers a rich, smooth, and full-bodied taste that we think rivals premium coffee.
It’s perfect for busy mornings, combining Organic Arabica Coffee with Lion’s Mane Extract, B Vitamins, Maca Root, and Ashwagandha, offering both a caffeine kick and a host of wellness benefits.
DIRTEA’s products are stylishly packaged and easy to integrate into daily routines.
While some powders have an earthy taste and a higher price tag, the benefits — from improved focus to reduced caffeine dependency — make them a worthwhile investment.
There’s no getting around the fact that beer isn’t the most groundbreaking Father’s Day gift, but why mess with a winning formula?
That doesn’t mean, though, that you have to get him a box of old English ales with names like “Dusty Badger” (unless that’s his sort of thing, of course).
We’d recommend heading to Beer52, where you can get a free box of beer worth £27 — you just have to pay the £5.95 postage fee.
When we tried it, it contained a beautifully curated, exciting selection of beers from all over the world, featuring breweries in Japan, Sweden and New Zealand.
It’s certainly an eccentric mix, and your dad might not love every beer (the selection was a bit stout/porter heavy for our reviewer), but if he keeps an open mind, he just might find a new favourite.
The Cinnamon Bun IPA in our selection, for example, was an unexpected delight. And if you know your dad isn’t a fan of darker beers, you can choose to receive a selection exclusively comprising light ones.
As an extra touch of class, Beer52 also includes a couple of fancy snacks and a copy of “Ferment”, the UK’s premier craft beer magazine, which has features and interviews about the makers of the beer your dad will be drinking.
Not bad for less than £6!
A very classy selection of wine
SuppliedYou can get £35 off your first Naked Wines order, bringing the price of six bottles down to just £35[/caption]
Different strokes for different folks, of course, but for our money, wine makes for a better gift than beer.
There’s a sense of occasion you get from prising open a bottle of pinot noir that you just don’t get from cracking open a can of IPA.
Naked Wines is the way to go, if you ask us. It gives you £35 off your first order, meaning your first six bottles cost just £34.99 — a perfect price for a Father’s Day gift.
You can choose whether he receives red, white, or a mix of both, and you can then specify whether he prefers “big reds and rich whites” or “smooth reds and crisp whites”.
All the bottles we tried were delicious — the only difficulty was trying to make the selection last for more than a week!
A very classy selection of chocolates
SuppliedEditor’s Note: The Peruvian Dark Chocolate in this picture will be replaced by Maldon Sea Salt Dark Chocolate in the Father’s Day hamper — Love Cocoa was experiencing stock issues at the time of writing[/caption]
“Made for Him” Father’s Day Chocolate Hamper, £34.95 from Love Cocoa
Love Cocoa was established by chocolate royalty — its founder is James Cadbury, the great-great-great grandson of the original Mr. Cadbury.
That doesn’t automatically make it worth buying, but we can attest that the Father’s Day selection is very lovely indeed.
It includes four tasty products: Salted Caramel Truffles, Salted Caramel Biscuits, Honeycomb Milk Chocolate and Maldon Sea Salt Dark Chocolate.
Just be sure your dad likes salt before you buy it — if he does, don’t expect any of the products to stick around for too long (the biscuits didn’t even make it 24 hours, in our case).
All of the products are beautifully presented — the truffles and biscuits are in lovely cylindrical boxes, and the two bars of chocolate are in vibrant coloured cardboard.
They’re all presented in a nice box, too, which can be reused when the chocolate is nothing but a distant memory.
A tray of nutty biscuity letterbox brownies
Supplied
Limited Father’s Day Brookie Box, £23 from Cake or Death
Labelled as a brookie (a brownie and a cookie all in one), these Cake or Death brownies are sure to go down a treat with any nut-loving, cake-loving dad.
The brookies make a perfect last-minute gift if the occasion slipped your mind this year, as they can be ordered by 2pm for next-day delivery and fit straight through his letterbox.
These gooey, indulgent brownies include three peanut brookies, featuring rippled peanut butter and toasted peanuts drizzled on top, as well as three Biscoff brookies, made with a layer of Biscoff cookie dough, slathered with Lotus Biscoff spread, and finished with a sprinkling of Biscoff crumbs.
A Mediterranean tapas selection
SuppliedThis tapas selection is perfect for “picky bits in the garden” weather[/caption]
We’re in prime “picky bits in the garden” season, and we can’t think of many better things to do than sit in the sun, drink a very cold glass of white wine, and make our way through this selection of tapas from Boxtapas.
Priced at £55, it’s an authentic selection of some of the most premium cans and jars Spain has to offer, including trendy tinned fish, artisinal patés and snacks including almonds, olives and breadsticks.
We loved that several of the choices could be eaten either by themselves or used as ingredients to make meals more premium.
The tinned mackerel and roasted peppers, for example, could be eaten simply with some posh bread, bruschetta style, or combined with some olive oil to make a delicious, quick, savoury pasta.
A luxury Ploughman’s Hamper for a night in front of the telly
Supplied
Ploughman’s Hamper of Luxury Cheese & Craft Beer, £65 from Snowdonia
A night in front of the telly can be made infinitely better with a Ploughman’s hamper from Snowdonia, the award-winning cheese company.
The hamper includes four cheeses in a variety of flavours, such as smoked cheddar or chilli, alongside the Snowdonia classic Black Bomber in a generous 400g portion.
It also features two beers, a jar of pickled onions, a box of olive oil crackers and two chutneys, all beautifully presented in a royal blue hamper, carefully packaged with straw.
To top it off, there’s even a cheese slate included to make your dad feel as fancy as possible as he relaxes to watch the football, enjoying a whopping kilo of cheese paired with either a Citrus Blonde or an American IPA.
Father’s Day always seems to be associated with dark spirits like whisky and rum, but why can’t your dad enjoy a nice gin and tonic this summer?
We’ve bought you two quite different options. The first, from Sapling, is a climate-positive London Dry Gin made from “premium winter wheat”.
It’s got a refreshing, clean, lemony taste that makes it absolutely perfect for summer, and to make things even better, the company plants a tree for every bottle sold.
The second is perhaps more traditionally masculine, and would be great if your dad is a 90s hip-hop fan.
It’s called Still G.I.N, it’s made “by” Snoop Dogg and Dr. Dre, and you know what? It’s actually really good.
Kitchenware
A fancy frying pan
SuppliedThe Titanium Always Pan Pro claims to have groundbreaking “coating-free nonstick technology”.[/caption]
Whether he’s sautéing, frying, roasting, boiling, baking, braising, searing or serving straight from the pan, this versatile piece of kit does it all and looks effortlessly stylish both on and off the stove.
The Titanium Always Pan Pro claims to have the world’s first “coating-free nonstick technology”, meaning no harmful chemicals and an easy clean-up after the culinary magic is done.
Its unique honeycomb-like surface features a titanium-based coating (hence the name — the pan itself is mostly made from Stainless Steel) that’s reportedly 300% harder than alternatives, and adds a touch of elegance to the cooking experience.
We’ve tested it out on every culinary task from searing salmon to steaming veggies, and it’s Always (pardon the pun) come out on top.
On the rare chance Dad puts it to the ultimate test, you’ll have peace of mind with its lifetime guarantee.
Plus, it’s oven-safe to an impressive 535ºC (much higher than chemically-coated non-stick pans, and higher than ordinary ovens will go to), perfect for mastering that Sunday roast.
A do-it-all knife set
SuppliedProCook’s X50 Contour Knife set is currently discounted by £30[/caption]
Professional X50 Contour Knife Set, £149 £119.20 from ProCook
Chefs will occasionally try and convince you that “one knife is all you need”, and technically, it might be true — but we like having choice.
This five-knife block from ProCook is fairly priced at £119.20 (down from £149), and includes every knife the average home cook will ever need: a six-inch chef’s knife for most tasks, a five-inch utility and 3.5-inch paring knife for fiddlier tasks, a 10-inch carving knife and a 10-inch bread knife.
We’ve been using the set for half a year and have been really impressed with how long the knives have stayed sharp, as well as their comfy, contoured (and stylish) handles.
The knives also come encased in a sleek, smoky glass block, which allows you to see which knife you’re picking up (something we hate about wooden knife blocks).
An easy-to-use knife sharpener
SuppliedThe Horl 3 Cruise is the perfect balance of easy to use and effective[/caption]
Nothing positively impacts the satisfaction (and, oddly, safety) of cooking like having a sharp knife.
It makes chopping easier, more precise and faster — and you’ll find that your eyes sting a lot less slicing onions, too.
We’ve tried a few knife sharpeners, and none we’ve tried walk the line between effectiveness and ease like the Horl 3 Cruise.
It works super simply; you magnetically attach your knife to one of the two sharpening angles (15° creates a particularly sharp edge, 20° creates a more robust one), then run the diamond disc along the cutting edges of the blade.
You then follow it up with the stainless steel disc to ensure a smooth knife edge.
The whole process takes just a few minutes, and takes no time at all to get the hang of.
A meat thermometer that’ll take his BBQs to the next level
Supplied/AmazonThe Meater Pro XL (left) and Meater Plus (right)[/caption]
In cooking terms, there’s nothing like the disappointment of biting into a piece of meat you’ve spent hours slaving over, only to be left gasping for water because you’ve overcooked it into a dry, unappealing mess.
It doesn’t help that the cooking instructions on supermarket meat are often wildly off, erring far more on the side of safety than flavour.
The device that has made the biggest difference to the standard of our cooking is the Meater.
We haven’t cooked a piece of dry meat since we bought it, and it turned Christmas Day cooking into a piece of cake — even in an unfamiliar kitchen.
It’s a Bluetooth meat thermometer that connects to an app on your phone and has settings for almost every cut of meat you can think of.
Once you’ve chosen how well you want your meat cooked and it’s had a few minutes to adjust to the temperature of your oven or BBQ, it will give you a fairly accurate estimate of how long your cook has left, enabling you to ensure every element of your meal is ready at the same time.
We tested out the £329 Meater Pro XL, but unless he’s going to be cooking several cuts of meat at the same time, we’d stick to the much cheaper single-probe Meater Plus (£99) or dual-probe Pro Duo (£189).
This sausage roll maker is undeniably a bit of a novelty, but that doesn’t mean your dad won’t get some use out of it.
It’s super easy to use; simply put in a layer of pre-made pastry, pop in your sausage meat, cover it with another layer of pastry, close the lid, wait a few minutes and voila; delicious home-made sausage rolls.
The non-stick coating also means it’s super easy to clean up once you’ve finished cooking, and at 12cm x 26cm x 21.5cm, it’ll easy fit into a cupboard when you’re not using it.
It only costs £20, and it can make four sausage rolls at once; compared to the cost of going to Greggs, it’ll pay itself off in no time.
Some Michelin-starred curry sauces

The Classics Perfected Bundle, £29 from Gymkhana Fine Foods
Gymkhana in Mayfair is one of just a handful of Indian restaurants in the world to have two Michelin stars.
As you can imagine, that means it’s more expensive than your local curry house, but you can bring a taste of the restaurant into your own home thanks to Gymkhana Fine Foods.
The brand sells ready-made curry sauces, chutneys and marinades that can be delivered straight to your door, and a four-jar bundle costs less than a single curry at the real restaurant.
Safe to say, it knocks the socks off any supermarket jarred curry.

An Audible Subscription
Get a month of Audible Premium Plus for FREE (then £8.99 per month)
Busy dads might not get the time to read as much as they’d like.
An Audible subscription is a great way for him to “read” while doing other things, whether that’s driving, running or gardening.
There are loads of great books available, both fiction and non-fiction, meaning he’ll find something he likes, whether he’s a true crime addict, history buff or simply loves a sports autobiography.
The platform is currently running an offer that gets you your first month for free (make sure to cancel if you don’t want to be enrolled on an £8.99 monthly subscription, though).
A Bluetooth keyring
SuppliedTile’s Bluetooth keyring has saved our skin on more than one occasion[/caption]
We all know a man who loses anything that isn’t physically attached to his body: his keys, wallet, phone, the TV remote…
Tile’s Bluetooth keyring has saved our skin on more than one occasion. It’s super simple to use — if you can’t find your keys, you simply go on the Tile app and click “find”. Your keys will then begin to emit a loud ringtone, enabling you to find them.
And if you think you’ve lost them, you can see their whereabouts on a map, too.
Even better, if you’ve lost your phone, you can click a little button on the keyring, and it’ll work the other way round — your phone will begin to ring so that you can find it.
At £215 on sale at Very, this would certainly be a generous gift, but if you’re after something that’ll get used again and again, this is a great shout.
Billed as “the most powerful chessboard ever invented”, we think this would be great for a recently-retired dad, but it’s also a handy present for anyone wanting to get into the often daunting game of chess.
It’s a great, fun way of improving your skills; you play an AI opponent (you can choose from 1-300 difficulty), while the clever board helps you level up your game by suggesting the best moves (although you can turn this setting off if you don’t want the help).
You can also play friends or strangers online, or — obviously — use it with a partner as an old-fashioned chess board.
There’s even a daily challenge to test out how you handle different scenarios.
The board and pieces are stylishly designed and nice enough to stay out on display, but they’re lightweight enough to take on holiday, too.
It’s safe to say darts has never been cooler than it is right now — it’s reportedly the fastest-growing sport in the UK.
If your dad is looking to unleash his inner Luke Littler, then a great gift could be this Tor Dartboard from Target Darts.
It’s a smidge under £70, meaning it could be a good item to buy with the help of a sibling. If you’re looking for something slightly cheaper, you could go for this Luke Littler-branded Dartboard Set from the same brand, which is £44.95.
The Tor board is officially approved by the World Darts Federation, meaning it meets professional competition standards.
It’s made using Madagascan sisal, which is known for its self-healing properties, meaning he should be able to use it for years to come.
An unnecessarily nice water bottle
SuppliedLe Creuset’s water bottle is available in eight colours and two sizes[/caption]
Let’s face it, a water bottle isn’t the most exciting of gifts. A Le Creuset water bottle, on the other hand…
Available in two sizes and eight of the brand’s iconic colours, the Le Creuset insulated water bottle does everything you’d want a fancy bottle to do.
Namely, it keeps things cold, thanks to its double-wall stainless steel interior, it doesn’t leak thanks to a double threaded opening, and as careless as we are with it, we can’t seem to scratch or dent it.
Unusually, there’s a second, wider opening further down the bottle, too, which is handy for two things: adding ice, and making it possible to deep clean.
The Bob markets itself as “the new way to wash”, and we have to admit we’ve grown quite fond of it.
It’s basically soap and loofah in one nifty device.
You simply pop a “Bob Bar” block of soap into the applicator, wet it under the shower for a few seconds, then go to town.
Thanks to its medical-grade bristles, it feels like a much better, more invigorating clean than simply rubbing shower gel all over your body with your hands.
It’s customisable, meaning you can choose how much soap is dispensed every wash, and it even comes with a handy shower mount for extra convenience.
A distinguished pen
Supplied/Farrar & TannerA weighty, expensive-feeling pen is a great gift for more traditional fathers[/caption]
And, to be fair, we can’t argue that it feels nice to have a reassuringly expensive, weighty pen in your hand — as soon as we received ours, we were overwhelmed with the temptation to hand-write a manifesto against the digitisation of modern life.
It’s possible to spend absurd amounts of money on luxury writing tools, but a more affordable option is the Heritage Classic Rollerball Pen by Cerutti 1881, which is on sale for just £48 at Farrar and Tanner — expensive enough to be a generous gift, but not so pricey that it’s world-ending if he loses it.
It’s a dream to write with, comes in a stylish, sleek silver colour and is presented in an easy-to-wrap gift box. Tick, tick, tick.
A trusty pair of gardening clogs
SuppliedThese sturdy clogs are as comfy as they are practical[/caption]
If you’ve got a green-fingered dad whose choice of gardening footwear is a pair of holey running trainers from 20 years ago, a pair of stylish, durable clogs could be a great gift.
They’re made from 100% natural rubber and are fully waterproof, with a grippy sole that ensures he won’t go flying after slipping on freshly-watered grass.
A plush pillow
SuppliedGive the gift of a great night’s sleep[/caption]
Coolmax Latex Pillow, £179 £98.01 from Origin Mattress
For a busy dad, is there a more valuable gift than a good night’s sleep?
A good pillow is one of the easiest ways to upgrade your kip; it eliminates the need to mess around with your mattress, but in our opinion, it has almost as dramatic an effect.
One of our current favourites is the Origin Coolmax Latex Pillow, which is on sale with 45% off (down from £179 to £98.01).
It’s quite firm, so make sure that’s something he’ll like, but it’s also very cool to the touch and pressure-relieving.

Channel 4I can reveal that Virgin Island is ready for its second coming[/caption]
Channel 4The Channel 4 relationship show invited 12 virgins to pop their cherries on telly[/caption]
The broadcaster has begun casting for a new flock of innocents who want the help of show sexperts Danielle Harel and Celeste Hirschman.
Virgin Island followed the journey of a dozen young people as they learnt the art of intimacy on a Croatian beach.
Working with the therapists and a team of “surrogate partners” and “sexological bodyworkers” the aim was to help them overcome their fears and insecurities when it comes to intimacy and sex.
It proved to be a big hit with viewers, though, and became Channel 4’s most streamed new format since 2023 — especially with that important 16-34 age group.
For that younger age group, it was the biggest launch for six years since Michael Jackson factual piece, Leaving Neverland.
A source said: “Virgin Island had a big buzz about it as something which really pushed the boundaries.
“In a market filled with somewhat predictable dating shows, it broke the mould and still had that Channel 4 experimental heart to it. So everyone was thrilled when the ratings seemed to back the broadcaster’s punt.
“It felt like a no-brainer to consider a second series.”
The more important news, though, is the programme managed to fulfil its central aim and helped a few of the not-so-dirty dozen to shed their V plates.
I told last week how accountant Dave went all the way with surrogate Kat Slade, with a handful following his lead once back in the UK.
Let’s hope their success inspires another brave lot to come forward for round two.
2 weeks agoNew York StateComments Off on I’ve found the perfect gift for athletic dads this Father’s Day — it can be worn in and out of the gym
‘ATHLEISURE’ isn’t really a word that factors into my life.
There are clothes I use to exercise — usually a ratty t-shirt and gym shorts — and clothes I wear out and about.
However, I was recently sent some gear from Gym + Coffee, and my eyes were opened to the possibility of clothes that do both.
Gym+Coffee is designed to bridge the gap between gymwear and everyday clothingSuppliedI tried out three of the brand’s garments[/caption]
As you might be able to tell from the name, Gym + Coffee makes garments designed to take you from your workout to your post-gym social commitments.
They might not be smart enough to wear out to dinner, but their sleek, minimalistic design means they’re certainly nice enough to wear out to brunch or to run errands.
They tick the box that I think all good gym gear should tick: they make you excited to do exercise.
Gym+Coffee: Quickfire Q&A
How much is it? Moderately priced, if you ask me. My T-shirt was £30, shorts were £40 and the quarter-zip mid layer was £60.
Who’s it best for? People who like their workout clothes to do the heavy lifting outside the gym as well as in.
What we loved: Every item feels really well-made, the sizing is spot-on and it’s a welcome change from a sea of Gymshark and Lululemon. I also thought it was really
What we didn’t: Honestly? Not much. There are a lot of stock issues at the moment, which makes ordering a pain.
There’s nothing too fancy about the material; it’s 88% recycled polyester (which is a nice eco-friendly touch) and 12% elastane, which gives it a nice form-fitting stretch.
I really loved the fit of this tee; it’s got just a tiny bit of extra length, which means that you won’t be exposing your stomach every time you reach your arms above your head.
I also liked that it doesn’t go over the top with the stretchiness — it’s tight enough to be form-fitting, but loose enough that you won’t look like an idiot if you decide to go for a pint after your workout.
It’s also super breathable, soft to the touch and, at £30, it’s not silly money.
It’s also a nice design touch to include a raglan sleeve, which extends in one piece up to your collar, rather than stopping at the shoulder.
It gives you a bigger range of movement than an ordinary sleeve.
While that’s nothing groundbreaking, it just shows an attention to detail that I appreciate.
Other neat little features include a size pocket with an invisible zip and thumb holes.
It says a lot that it’s recieved nothing but five-star reviews on the Gym+Coffee site, and that’s from 50+ reviews — no mean feat.
I think I echo the sentiments of this review: “Fits like a glove. Nice and tight on the arms and chest while not showing off the dad gut. Love it. Highly recommend.”
I’ve always liked a shorter short, especially for working out, but it’s worth mentioning that Gym + Coffee sells two versions of these shorts: a six-inch version and an eight-inch version.
Weirdly, though, if you have your heart set on Petrol Blue, you’ll have to be happy to show some thigh — you can’t get the colour in the eight-inch shorts.
As with the quarter zip, there’s an attention to detail here I like.
They have the sort of thick waistband I usually associate with yoga pants, for example, which helps them to stay in place during high-intensity sports.
And as a person whose primary form of exercise is tennis, I appreciated that I could fit two tennis balls in the pockets.
Some reviewers have called these the best shorts they’ve ever worn, and I have to agree — they’re comfortable, lightweight, and made from a fabric that feels soft, stretchy and high-quality.

TELLY farm favourite Jeremy Clarkson has made the rasher decision not to send his tiny transgender pig to the slaughterhouse.
While most of the Sun columnist’s swine are dispatched to be turned into bacon, sausages and pork chops, he has decided to save diminutive Richard Ham — named after his ex-Top Gear and Grand Tour co-host Richard Hammond.

AmazonJeremy has decided to name the diminutive pig Richard Ham[/caption]
But in scenes from the latest episode of Clarkson’s Farm — streaming tomorrow — viewers discover the pint-sized pig is not being kept purely out of affection.
Instead, he is spared the butcher’s knife in a bid to get the next lot of female pigs “in the mood” — and is likened to late Playboy boss Hugh Hefner.
Jeremy says: “The problem is, if he goes on the lorry, he’s killed and all we get in return is chipolata and a pork chop the size of a walnut.
“If he stays here, we’ve got to feed him for no reason.
“And that’s not farming.
“But the next lot of sows, we’re going to use artificial insemination on them, to make them pregnant.
“But we can’t do that until they get in heat and they won’t get in heat unless there’s man pig nearby.
“So why don’t we keep him as the farm’s man pig, to get the ladies in the mood?
“Good old Richard Ham — you could be Hugh Hefner now!”
Last week, viewers saw farm manager Kaleb Cooper tell Jeremy his bull, which cost £5,500, might be gay as he showed no interest in breeding with the cows.
Then Kaleb informed him Richard Ham was showing signs he might be trans after being bonked by another boar.
But Kaleb is still bewildered by Jeremy’s decision to keep the little porker, saying: “What is this farm coming to?”

However, the 47-year-old quickly fell silent and failed to get to his feet again.
Pastor Carvinho collapsed and died at the God Is Love Pentecostal Church in Caxias do Sul, southern Brazil, on May 31.
He was invited to the church as a guest speaker.
A nurse and a nursing student in the congregation provided first aid until an ambulance arrived, as reported by NeedToKnow.
The student, who wished to remain anonymous, told local media, “We did our part to save his life.
“Everything seemed normal while he was preaching. He was telling a story about his father, and I think he got very emotional.
“We don’t know if he had an underlying heart issue or not.
“Tests will confirm whether he had a heart attack or something similar.”
She added, “We were very excited because we were waiting for him to come to our hometown.
“He was a very humble person who preached the truth.”
His late father was also a pastor.
A church spokesperson said, “Pastor Sérgio Carvinho was an instrument of God on this earth, bringing comfort, hope and love through the Word.”
“His voice, which so often filled this place with songs of worship, now joins the heavenly choir.”
“We will miss the sound of his voice, his prayers, his teachings, and the praise that flowed from his soul.”

Witnesses said that in his final moments, Pastor Carvinho knelt in prayer in front of the church, just as he had done many times before, Diário Independente reported.
It was a quiet, familiar gesture that marked the end of a life spent preaching the Gospel.
Several congregations of the Pentecostal Church God is Love in Santa Catarina, including those in Criciúma, Bombinhas, and Ratones in Florianópolis, shared tributes in honor of the pastor, Metropoles reported.

EASTENDERS star Clair Norris has opened up about her devastating exit from the hit BBC One soap, admitting that she was upset by the decision to axe her.
The actress, 27, joined the cast as Bernie Taylor back in 2017, but following the departure of her entire family over the last few years, the soap’s top boss decided to axe her much-loved character.

Speaking on thered carpet at the British Soap Awards, which is being screened on ITV1 tomorrow night at 8pm, she said: “Obviously it’s upsetting but also I’d been there for eight years, which is a long time to play a character, and I have absolutely loved being in the show.
“They gave me the opportunity to learn on the job and also now I am able take that onto other things that I do.
“Of course it’s sad but at the same time it felt like a natural end, with the Taylors being gone, it kind of felt right. I’m now very excited about the future.”
Clair revealed how she took her character’s iconic coat as a memento as well as the Walford Pride t-shirt she wore during the soap’s first ever gay pride event.
She said: “I have taken Bernie’s coat. It was so iconic! And also the t-shirt that Bernie wore for Pride with ‘Walford Pride’ on it, little bits here and there. Also her badge when it was her birthday.”
The actress was keeping tight-lipped about the exact details of her exit, which she filmed last month, but teased that ‘bad Bernie’ will be back.
She said: “My exit is very Bernie, and it’s back to bad Bernie. It’s very dramatic, and must-watch, I’ve already filmed my exit and it will play out later this summer.”
So could we see the return of your mum Karen? “I couldn’t possibly say! Maybe, maybe not, you’ll all have to watch.”
Clair celebrated with the rest of the Albert Square cast, who picked up a whooping eight gongs on the night, and is now planning her next move.
She said: “My plan is to work out what I want to do. EastEnders is the only thing I’ve ever done, so all I know is soap.
“I came from college and went straight into it. I think having a varied career, going into theatre would be great, and also, doing a drama would be great. I’m open to anything.
“I’ve just been on holiday which was great and the perfect timing. And now I’m back it’s about getting cracking with show reels and self tapes.”

DRUG dealers were snared by cops after boasting of their lavish lifestyle in music videos filled with champagne and wads of cash.
Twelve members were sentenced yesterday for a combined 130 years after starring in a glitzy rap video in which they flaunted Rolex watches and posed with thick wads of cash.

In the YouTube video, the designer clothes clad-gangsters can be seen spraying each other with hundred-pound bottles of Dom Peringon Champagne.
Many of the members ride into the choreographed music video in a £250,000 Rolls Royce – fit with a personalised number plate – boasting about knives and drug profits.
Dozens of balaclava-clad men are shown dancing around on the streets of Nottingham, setting off flares and making gang signs.
But the designer clothes-clad gangsters were more sheepish when Nottinghamshire Police busted through their doors in a series of early morning raids in February 2023.
The Class A crooks were busted after a “lengthy and complex” investigation into the industrial scale county lines group, who flooded towns with heroin and cocaine.
Officers discovered that the high profile drug gang’s empire ran as far as Scotland, with 13 different supply lines attached to the group.
Children were often exploited by the armed group, ferrying drugs across towns in Nottinghamshire and neighbouring counties Derbyshire, Lincolnshire and Leicestershire.
Based on evidence found by cops, it is understood that the organisation served more than 1,400 customers, sending out more than 33,000 mass-marketed messages.
Hand-written notes from Sipho Ncube, 29, one of the gang’s leaders, revealed that the crook aimed to earn £20,000 a week from dealing drugs.
Body cam footage shows the 29-year-old running from the scene of a road crash in an last-ditch attempt to evade cops.
Raids on properties connected to Ncube uncovered drugs, a Rolex and gold teeth grills.
He was jailed for 15 years after repeatedly being found in possession of knives and continuing to “brazenly” offend despite being on bail.
Another senior member, Jephte Fikula, 29, was jailed for 21 years after police raids found live firearms in houses linked to him.
His DNA was discovered on a magazine from one of the guns.
Speaking on the arrests, Detective Inspector Luke Todd, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Class A drugs ruin countless lives and the trade in these substances brings misery to our communities.
“That is why we devote so many hours of police work and have specialist teams working on cases like this to disrupt and shut down drug lines.
“I’d like to thank the many officers from multiple teams who worked on this case.
“Investigating one drug line can be a complex process but 13 lines have been linked to this group, which shows the enormous scale of their operation.

“Following today’s sentencings, our thoughts are with the gang’s many victims, both the vulnerable people they coerced into selling their drugs and the unfortunate and desperate addicts who became their customers.
“Ultimately, whole communities, both in Nottinghamshire and elsewhere, will benefit from these drug lines being identified and shut down.
“The public are an extra set of eyes and ears for us in trying to tackle criminal gangs head-on.
“The information also allows us to engage with the young people, which is hugely important in our battle against County Lines.”
