Wetherspoons fans devastated as ‘favourite’ dip axed from menu

WETHERSPOONS has axed a popular dip leaving fans devastated.

Sticky soy sauce has now permanently disappeared from the budget boozer’s menu.

Chicken strips, chips, coleslaw, and gravy on a Wetherspoon's plate.
The popular menu item has been axed

The Asian-inspired dip, which was often served with breast bites, was a popular choice amongst diners.

Confused punters took to Reddit to find out where the beloved dish had gone.

Writing in a thread one customer asked if anyone knew where the sauce had gone, adding they would be “devastated” if it was axed.

Another person said: “Not very happy about it but its gone. So good with breast bites.”

The Sun reached out to Wetherspoons who confirmed the sauce was taken off menus on May 14.

A spokesperson said: “ The company reviews its menus regularly and on occasion, some items will be taken off.

“This is the case with the sticky soy sauce.”

“We appreciate that some customers will be disappointed and apologise to them.”

The news will come as a blow to customers who in the past described the sauce as “the one”.

Another fan previously said they “lived” for the beloved liquid condiment.

It comes as the affordable chain has shaken up its menu in recent weeks.

That includes it’s famous £6.49 chicken bites, which are “temporarily unavailable” on menus across all pubs in the UK.

The staple item featured 10 crispy chicken bites, chips and a bunch of sauces.

Spoons has also cut steak, mixed grills and gammon from menus across the country in a cost-cutting shake-up.

But it is not all bad news for punters as the chain has launched a range of new Gourmet Burgers.

Spoons also launched a £2.99 breakfast deal in February, with customers able to get a breakfast muffin or small breakfast with soft or hot drink.

MORE AXED MENU ITEMS

Wetherspoons is not the only chain switching up its menus.

Greggs recently axed its Chargrill Chicken Oval Bite in a blow to fans.

A spokesperson for Greggs told The Sun the bite has been axed to make way for the new Roast Chicken Salad Roll, which launched in May.

The Sun also exclusively revealed in May the chain had axed its Spicy Veg Curry Bake.

How can I save money at Wetherspoons?

PUB-GOERS love Wetherspoons for its competitive pricing and low-cost meals - but did you know there are more ways to save money?

Senior consumer reporter Olivia Marshall explains how.

Free refills – Buy a £1.50 tea, coffee or hot chocolate and you can get free refills. The deal is available all day, every day.

Check a map – Prices can vary from one location the next, even those close to each other.

So if you’re planning a pint at a Spoons, it’s worth popping in nearby pubs to see if you’re settling in at the cheapest.

Choose your day – Each night the pub chain runs certain food theme nights.

For instance, every Thursday night is curry club, where diners can get a main meal and a drink for a set price cheaper than usual.

Pick-up vouchers – Students can often pick up voucher books in

their local near universities, which offer discounts on food and drink, so keep your eyes peeled.

Get appy – The Wetherspoons app allows you to order and pay for your drink and food from your table – but you don’t need to be in the pub to use it.

Taking full advantage of this, cheeky customers have used social media to ask their friends and family to order them drinks. The app is free to download on the App Store or Google Play.

Check the date – Every year, Spoons holds its Tax Equality Day to highlight the benefits of a permanently reduced tax bill for the pub industry.

It usually takes place in September, and last year it fell on Thursday, September 14.

As well as its 12-day Real Ale Festival every Autumn, Wetherspoons also holds a Spring Festival.

Wild moment OAP hurls her shopping at customers at Morrisons self-checkout as staff forced to break up vicious brawl

THIS is the wild moment all hell breaks loose after Morrisons shopper launches items at customers at self-checkout desks.

The dramatic footage depicting staff breaking up the brawl, was captured inside an Eccles store, in Salford, Manchester, on June 3.

Morrisons staff desperately try to intervene

It shows a woman hurling items in her basket through the air in front of horrified onlookers.

Someone can be heard yelling “you stupid b****” as the irate shopper continues to throw products.

Concerned Morrisons staff attempt to jump in and diffuse the situation with help from security guards.

But the disturbing scene escalates after the woman kicks another customer, throwing her to the floor.

She continues launching her attack while her victim lays on the ground.

When the woman sets her sights on another shopper she is finally apprehended by members of the public.

One even appears to kick her while she’s held restrained.

The footage cuts off as those involved fall over and brawl on the floor.

One customer, who caught the shocking scene on camera, told the M.EN: “To be honest, I am not too sure what set her off. She just started screaming and throwing things.

“Then she got out of her chair and attacked a poor woman who only came in for a balloon.”

Another witness alleged the aggressor even tried attacking police officers who arrived.

Greater Manchester Police were called to the store at around 6.15pm.

They arrested one woman at the scene on suspicion of assault and assaulting a police officer.

A Morrisons spokesperson declined to comment.

This comes as other shocking scenes across the country have been caught on camera.

Dashcam footage recorded an idiot biker plunging into a freezing river after a high speed police chase.

Irresponsible yob Karl Burnside lost control as he tried to evade cops at Rockwell Nature Reserve, in County Durham.

The 20-year-old ended up being treated for hyperthermia in hospital.

Elsewhere, a cyclist was filmed tearing between traffic with a child clinging to his back before going the wrong way through a roundabout.

Concerning footage showed the man riding in a cycle lane on Springfield Road, in west Belfast, with the youngster on his back.

The child, who didn’t appear to be wearing a helmet or any protection padding, was riding piggyback style.

At one point the little one, donning a short sleeved red top and beige shorts, flung their legs out to the side – barely clinging on as they gripped the man’s neck.

Plus, watch the shocking moment a knifeman lunged at cops after biting his victim’s ear off.

The disturbing scenes unfolded after a robbery went wrong at a property in Leicester on July 8 last year.

Dramatic body-cam footage shows Costel Remus Galoi lunging at police with a kitchen blade.

Aldi launches pretty £3 plant that flowers every week until September and turns your garden into a bee-friendly paradise

ALDI is launching a blooming great bargain just in time for summer – Butterfly Lavender for only £3.79 each, in shades of purple, pink and white.

Available in stores across the UK, including in places like Manchester, Leeds and Birmingham, from Thursday 12 June.

Lavender flowers blooming in a field
Butterfly Lavender, also known as French Lavender, is loved for its frilly blooms and aromatic leaves

Not only will it brighten up your garden, but it’ll also fill the air with a sweet scent for months and attract buzzing bees.

Butterfly Lavender, also known as French Lavender, is loved for its frilly blooms and aromatic leaves.

It flowers from late spring right through summer and even into autumn if looked after properly.

It will go dormant in winter, and return bigger and bushier next year if maintained properly.

How to care for lavender

To get the most out of your lavender, plant it in a sunny spot with well-drained soil.

Once it’s settled in, it won’t need much watering – in fact, it prefers to stay on the dry side.

French lavender typically flowers from late spring into early autumn, with a peak bloom period between May and September.

Some varieties, like Lavandula stoechas ‘Papillon’ and ‘Tiara’, are known for their continuous flowering from late spring to early autumn.

After French lavender flowers, you should trim the spent flower stalks to encourage more blooms and keep the plant compact.

You can also prune the plant back in late summer or early spring to rejuvenate it and prevent it from becoming woody.

French lavender is a versatile herb with various culinary and creative applications.

Beyond its beautiful scent and visual appeal, it can be used for baking, creating bath products, making essential oils, and even crafting home decor items like sachets or potpourri.

And Aldi’s plant is a bargain! A quick check at B&Q shows similar lavender plants starting at £12.

The 5 best flowers to help bees to thrive

Nature experts at Faith In Nature have shared the 5 best flowers Brits can plant in their gardens to help bees thrive.

Rebecca Miller, Fabulous’ Associate Editor and keen gardener explains why “bees are brilliant”.

“They are vital. They pollinate our food and play a crucial role in our ecosystem. But climate change, the increasing use of pesticides and loss of habitat means bees are endangered. No matter how big your garden or outside space is, you can plant a flower or two to help bees.”

Lavender

Lavender can thrive in a sunny spot with well-drained soil. It’s fragrant and flowers all-summer-long meaning it’s a big hit with bees – especially bumble bees.

Sunflowers

This cheery flower giant are bee-magnets. And if you look closely at a sunflower head, the big ‘flowers’ are actually a cluster of small flowers, called an inflorescence which attract pollinators.

Ideally, grow sunflowers in groups to provide nectar and pollen for as many bees as possible. At the end of summer, collect the dried seeds from the sunflower heads to feed the birds or plant next year.

Heather

These abundant, bell-shaped blooms are brimming with nectar and pollen – which is good news for bees.

Cornflowers

A vivid blue wildflower, cornflowers are often planted alongside other meadow blooms, like ox-eye daisies and poppies.

They grow on tall stems and are packed with nectar, making them particularly attractive to bees. Cornflowers bloom for a long time and are simple to grow, so they’re perfect for first-time gardeners and experienced alike.

Crocuses (and snowdrops)

Later this summer, when you’re starting to plan for your Spring displays, consider crocuses and snowdrops.

They provide bees, such as the queen buff-tailed bumblebee and male hairy-footed flower bees, with vital early pollen as they emerge from their winter hibernation.

Over at Waitrose Garden and Hillier, prices range from £7.99 to £13.99, depending on the size and variety.

This is the latest in a string of green-fingered savings from ALDI.

Earlier this month, rival Lidl launched a range of garden plants starting from just £1.99, undercutting pricier garden centres and online sellers.

David Brooks to become a dad for first time just four years after Bournemouth and Wales star beat cancer

DAVID BROOKS feels “lucky” he will become a dad – fearing it would never happen after his cancer diagnosis.

The Bournemouth winger’s wife Flora revealed last weekend she is pregnant, with the pair expecting their first baby in November.

Brooks revealed the possibility of parent life was in doubt when he battled stage 2 Hodgkin lymphoma in October 2021.

The 27-year-old said: “When I was diagnosed, I had those conversations and there was never any guarantees that I would be able to have children in the future.

“There was a chance that it wouldn’t have been possible. I was really lucky that it’s happened naturally.

“After the treatment, everything has gone back to normal. I’m really happy.

“I always wanted to start a family. My wife and I always wanted kids at some point.

“My situation took it out of my hands, so it’s very nice that everything has happened naturally and progressed into being a family.

“I’m really looking forward to it and I know my wife is, even though she’s the pregnant one and going through all that.

“I’m delighted – there were a few tears and now we’re really looking forward to it. We’re still a few months away – but I can’t wait.”

Before Brooks has to contend with nappies and sleepless nights, the Cherries attacker aims to extend Craig Bellamy’s unbeaten start to life as Wales boss.

The Dragons have now gone eight matches without defeat and expect to make that nine at home to Liechtenstein in Cardiff tomorrow.

But then Wales face a tough trip to Group J favourites Belgium on Monday night.

Brooks ensured Bellamy has not tasted a loss yet with a 96th-minute equaliser in North Macedonia in March.

He added: “It instills a bit of fear into who we are playing because other teams know we aren’t going to give up. It’s a massive positive.

“It gives us confidence and makes the opposition wary.”

Brooks made 33 appearances for Bournemouth across all competitions last season – but that included just 12 starts.

The wideman said: “It’s always a bit frustrating. I had a good patch of starting games and I thought I was playing well.

“I’ve been out a long time and that was the reason I went out on loan to Southampton last year.

“But I don’t want to get to the end of my career and have half of my appearances on the bench.

“I’m always looking to play more games and looking to make the best impact at club level when I get the opportunity.

“I’m in good fitness and form and confident I can make a difference over the next two Wales games.”

Wrap style dresses are always a fail safe flattering option for all and this dress from River Island is a new take on the look.

F&F at Tesco

The small polka dot print is also bang on trend.

Boohoo

Dress, £35, Boohoo[/caption]

If you’re looking for a long sleeve maxi dress then this one from Boohoo could be for you.

Not only is it a fun vibrant colour perfect for summer, but the elasticated waist panel in the middle makes this dress extra comfy and gives you some wiggle room.

Having the elastic in the middle then means the dress fans out and flows over the body to create a lovely shape.

What’s the best style that suits everyone?

ACCORDING to the fashion pros at Fabulous, there's a new style of dress that suits all body shapes.

Low-slung, dropped-waist silhouette styles have surged, thanks to the Noughties fashion trend that has swept the catwalks, social media and, of course, the high street.

First seen on the runways of luxury labels Molly Goddard and Jil Sander, the style typically cinches around the hip and pelvic area rather than the waist.

Now a plethora of more affordable options of the dress that suits a number of body shapes have dropped just as the sun starts to come out.

Clemmie Fieldsend, Fashion Editor, said: “There’s something so stylish about these dresses, and I love them.

“The simplicity of the top half teamed with the full skirt is like a sleeker and more grown-up tutu.

“I have a short torso so the dropped waist makes my body look longer, but, thankfully, the long skirt means your legs don’t look shorter.

“Plus it means I can tap into the low-waist trend without baring all in a pair of low-slung jeans.

“I know I’ll be living in mine all summer, paired with black sandals and sunnies, but for now all I need is a blazer slipped over the top and a closed-toe shoe and I’m ready to go.”

Meanwhile, Fashion Director, Tracey Lea Sayer, added: “I remember dropped-waist dresses from the 80s. I loved them then and I still love them again now!

“Forty years on from when they were first popular and I am not so sure they will be quite as flattering around my middle, because two kids and middle-aged spread later, my waist doesn’t exist any more.

“With a dress like this I can disguise my middle bit and still feel on trend for summer.”

Lottie Tomlinson says never-ending confidence battle after losing mum led her to excessive fillers until face ‘blew up’

LOTTIE Tomlinson has candidly opened up on her “never-ending” confidence battle after losing her mother.

After having her first child, the 26-year-old influencer noticed her cosmetic procedures had “got out of control” and has since had her lip and cheek filler dissolved.

She told Giovanna Fletcher about her attempts to find confidence in fillers[/caption]

Now, the mum-of-two has explained that she first turned to cosmetic treatments after “losing her confidence” after her mum Johannah Deakin’s death in 2016

The sister of One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson believes her mum, who died at the age of 43, “sugarcoated” her diagnosis and never realised “how bad” she was until near the end.

Revealing all to Giovanna Fletcher on a recent episode of the Happy Mum Happy Baby podcast, Lottie acknowledged that becoming a mother herself has since changed the way she views herself and has given her confidence back.

Reflecting on the past, when she would restrict herself in a bid to be slimmer, Lottie said: “I felt like it was making me happy.

Losing the weight and feeling slimmer definitely made me feel better in myself.

“But in terms of the fillers and the beauty treatments, it was just a never-ending thing of trying to catch up with yourself.

“And, like, when you lose someone as close as your mum, it affects your confidence a lot.

“That’s something I never expected, because if you think about it, your mum is the one person that cheers you on, that loves you unconditionally, that’s there to give you that reassurance and support.

“So when you lose that, you kind of lose that confidence in yourself.

“So I think I was constantly chasing, trying to find that confidence, thinking I would find it in these fillers and how I looked.”

Johannah had seven children – Louis, now 31, Lottie, 26, Félicité, who died at the age of 18, twins Phoebe and Daisy, 21, and twins Ernest and Doris, 11.

Johannah’s death prompted Lottie to move home to Doncaster to look after her younger siblings with her grandparents.

Not only was Lottie battling the loss of her mother at the time, but just three years after Johannah’s death, Lottie’s sister Félicité Tomlinson lost her life following an accidental overdose, after she took a fatal concoction of anti-anxiety medication, cocaine and painkillers.

Before the double tragedy, Lottie was working as a make-up artist alongside her friend Lou Teasdale, and by 2015 she was on tour with her brother Louis’ band One Direction.

Seven years after her mother’s death, Lottie gave birth to her first child, a boy named Lucky, two.

Then, in January 2025, Lottie, who has been described as a “stealth entrepreneur“, welcomed her second child, a now four-month-old daughter named Flossie.

Lottie shares both children with fiancé Lewis Burton, 33, whom she officially began dating back in August 2020 after meeting at a house party in May that year.

Discussing her pregnancy with Lucky, Lottie shared: “I was gaining a lot of weight… When I did have him, I was left four stone up.

I was constantly chasing, trying to find that confidence, thinking I would find it in these fillers and how I looked

Lottie Tomlinson

“My face was all swollen more because I had all the filler. That’s why I wanted to remove it once I did have him.

“Towards the end of the pregnancy, with the weight gain and the swelling, my face and my lips, everything had just blown up.

“I was like, ‘I can’t look like this’. And obviously, when you have a baby, your priorities change.”

Lottie also continued: “But I think what’s genuinely given me my confidence is having my kids, because you just realise that it’s not important.”

Despite this, she claimed: “I still like to look nice, I still like to get my hair done, but it’s not as important to me as it once was.

“I’m so comfortable now to just be in no make-up, have my hair up.”

Lottie’s mother Johannah died from leukaemia after she was diagnosed in 2016 when Lottie was just 18 years old.

Lottie Tomlinson career timeline

2015: Lottie worked as a stylist and make-up artist for her older brother Louis and his band One Direction during their On The Road Again Tour.

2016: Lottie became an ambassador for Nails Inc. and debuted a collaborative collection with the beauty brand. She also became the face of fashion brand Lipsy London. Lottie also worked as a make-up artist at London Fashion Week.

2017: She released her first book Rainbow Roots: #MAKEUPBYME, which featured 40 beauty tutorials.

2018: Along with Lou Teasdale, Lottie founded and launched the fake tan company Tanologist.

2019: Tanologist was launched in the US, appearing in stores such as Ulta and Target.

2020: Lottie became a brand ambassador for Sue Ryder’s bereavement support services. She also began working with fashion brands Pretty Little Thing and Asos.

2022: Lottie featured in marketing campaigns for Boux Avenue.

2024: Lottie launched her exercise and well-being app Verdure, which includes fitness and diet plans for users to follow at their own pace. She also released her second book Lucky Girl: Family, Falling and Finding My Way.

Lottie claimed her mum hid how ill she was to “protect” her children and when she did die, it was a complete “shock” to the family.

She added: “Looking back, she probably sugarcoated the situation because she wanted to protect us, which I understand.

“But then, when it came down to it, the last few weeks, that’s kind of the only time we kind of started to realise that she wasn’t going to be okay.

Towards the end of the pregnancy, with the weight gain and the swelling, my face and my lips, everything had just blown up

Lottie Tomlinson

“And so to lose her… it felt sudden. We had so much hope that she was going to be okay. And I think you’ve got to hold on to hope when someone’s ill.

“And she was so strong, she didn’t want anyone to know she was ill. She said she was going to fight it, and it was going to be okay.

“And so we’d take her word for that. And she’d always been right about things.

“So yeah, to lose her that suddenly was such a shock. And it’s like the centre of everything is gone.

“It’s like everything else falls apart and I feel like we’ve spent the last few years since it all happened, just trying to rebuild that.

“And it’s not been easy, but we’ve just stuck together as a family, and we’ve tried to look after each other.

“I think we’re getting there. We’re rebuilding everything. And it’s just sad that she’s not here with us.”

Bruno Fernandes’ ex-referee wife went from paying for dates when he was broke to convincing him to snub £200m Saudi move

BRUNO FERNANDES revealed wife Ana had a huge say on his decision to snub the Saudi Pro League.

The Portuguese star turned down a £200million package from Al-Hilal to stay at Manchester United.

Fernandes was a rare shining light in a dismal Old Trafford season last term.

And the skipper has now turned down a fortune to stay in the North West.

Reports suggest Al Hilal offered to TRIPLE Fernandes’ £250,000-a-week wages.

But with two years remaining on his United deal, the 30-year-old has decided to remain in Manchester.

Fernandes said: “There was that possibility [I could leave], the president of Al Hilal called me a month ago to ask.

“There was a waiting period on my part to think about what the future would hold. I would be open to it, if Manchester United felt it was my time.

“I spoke with [manager] Ruben Amorim, who really tried to talk me out of it.

“I spoke with the club, which wasn’t willing to sell, only if I truly wanted to leave.

“We never talked about money – that was all handled by my agent, not me.”

Fernandes and Ana are childhood sweethearts and met in their teens.

They married in 2015 and have two children together – Matilde, 7, and Goncalo, 4.

And he leaned on his rock for advice on whether to leave the Theatre of Dreams this summer.

Fernandes continued: “I spoke with my family to understand if that was what I wanted for my future.

“It was actually my wife who asked me – I never said yes or no.

“She put my professional priorities ahead of everything else.”

During Fernandes’ early days as a struggling player, he did not have the money to take his beau out on dates.

Ana funded their relationship by refereeing futsal matches on weekends.

And the United star credits her with getting them through the “tough times”.

Fernandes said: “Ana has been with me on this ride since we were 16, 17, 18 years old.

“We met as teenagers, and when we first started dating, I wasn’t making any money as a footballer.

“She had a nice job working as a futsal referee on the weekends.

“She used to do three or four matches in a row on a Saturday, and then we would always go to the cinema on Sundays.

“I personally didn’t have much money at the time so Ana was the one who had to pay for our movie tickets.

“Same with going out to dinner. Even at the pizza shop, she had to pay.”

I refuse to buy my kid new school shoes so colour them in with a Sharpie to last instead – trolls call me a cheapskate

A MOTHER has revealed that she is refusing to buy her child new school shoes for the rest of term as she has come up with a handy hack to keep her current pair looking fresh.

Samantha Potts, a savvy woman from the UK, explained that rather than constantly splashing the cash each term on new school shoes, she simply uses a Sharpie pen to colour in where the material has peeled off.

But Samantha Potts was met with harsh criticism from many, with users even calling her a “cheapskate” for her actions[/caption]

But Samantha’s quick and easy trick has been met with a barrage of nasty abuse, with mean trolls accusing her of being a “cheapskate”.

Not only this, but other parents voiced their concern that Samantha’s idea could set her young daughter, who is in primary school, up for “ridicule and bullying”.

Posting online, Samantha gave her followers a close-up look at her daughter’s black shoes, with half of the gloss peeled off.

But with Samantha “fed up of buying shoes”, she got a permanent marker to give the tired footwear a freshen up for the last term

Alongside her short clip, Samantha said: “When it’s the last term of the year at school and your kid has decided to peel off her shoes – you are now stood here colouring it in with a permanent marker because you don’t want to buy any more shoes.”

Samantha then asked: “The question is, do I pull this bit off so it’s the whole front of one shoe? Do I keep it on? Who knows?”

Following this, she asked her followers: “What will look better? I feel like at this stage it can’t get any worse.”

Showing off her daughter’s coloured-in patent shoes, Samantha recognised: “I know they look bad.”

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @samanthapotts05 just 15 hours ago, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly amassed 221,800 views.

Not only this, but it’s also amassed 3,324 likes, 735 comments and 296 shares.

But trolls were stunned by Samantha’s purse-friendly idea and many eagerly raced to the comments to voice their opinions.

One person said: “Shoe Zone £10. Go buy some cheapskate.”

You can’t let her walk around like that for six weeks, please buy her some shoes

Another added: “Never would I send my kid to school in shoes like that, regardless of it being last term or not.”

A third commented: “Asda do school shoes for £6, that works out at £1 a week!”

One mother fumed: “You can’t let her walk around like that for six weeks, please buy her some shoes.”

EXTRA HELP WITH SCHOOL UNIFORM COSTS

IF you can't get targeted help from your council, you might have some other options available to you.

In some areas, you can talk directly to your school, which might be able to offer you clothing.

Or, you might be able to get cheap garments from low-budget shops or charity stores.

Some charities offer help to families in need too.

But bear in mind charities often have a limited amount of money to give and usually have specific criteria which must be met in order to get a grant.

Charity Turn2Us has a free grants search tool on its website which you can use to find out what help is available to you.

Meanwhile, you can always try approaching your nearest Citizens’ Advice branch.

If you don’t know where your nearest Citizens’ Advice branch is, you can find out by visiting www.citizensadvice.org.uk/about-us/contact-us/nearby/.

If you’re not eligible for a school uniform grant you might be able to get help through the Household Support Fund.

Whilst another slammed: “Or just buy your kids new shoes! Would you go out like that? No.. so why make your child?”

At the same time, another fuming user wrote: “I’ll buy new shoes. This is not on. I get it times are hard but there has to be a pot for this stuff.

“I wouldn’t dream of sending a child to school in those. Knowing how mean children can be, you’re opening your child up to ridicule and bullying.”

She is only in Year 1, most days her dresses are covered in pen or paint or her lunch from the day and she couldn’t care less so I don’t think a little permanent marker on her shoes is gonna bother her

Samantha Potts

But in response to the haters, Samantha later responded: “Wow, didn’t expect this to blow up as much as it did.

“Just to clear a few things up – she’s got 31 days left. Nine of those are PE so she will be in trainers.

“Why would I teach my kid that intentionally ruining something gets rewarded? It’s wasteful and the structural integrity of the shoes are still there, if they were broken I’d replace them.

Love Island couple SPLIT while on holiday together just days after denying they were on the rocks

LOVE Island stars Harriett Blackmore and Ronnie Vint have split up after rekindling their romance on All Stars earlier this year.

The couple, who were recently on holiday together in Ibiza, have now both unfollowed each other on social media, with Ronnie also deleting photos of Harriett.

They gave their romance another shot on All Stars this year[/caption]

It’s now been confirmed to The Sun that the pair have opted to go their separate ways.

Their split comes just days after the couple were hit with split fears by concerned fans.

Fans had spotted that footballer Ronnie, 28, had deleted photos of Harriett, 25, from Instagram – sparking fears they had separated.

But Ronnie took to his Instagram story to deny that they’re on the rocks at the time, and said posts about the break-up are fake.

The Love Island star shared a screengrab from an Instagram page that claimed he and Harriett had split.

The post appeared to show Ronnie commenting: “Yeah it’s true. Will explain my side of things later,” along with the caption: “Ronnie Vint is sharing his side of that story with what happened with Harriett.”

But Ronnie insisted that was simply a cruel hoax by a social media user.

He wrote: “This is clearly a set up. Edited because we are sweet and I haven’t commented a thing. Thank you.”

Just a day before, Ronnie and Harriett posted a since-deleted story around the same time, saying “LOOOOL”, with a black background.

One fan wrote on Reddit: “Harriet and Ronnie broke up??

“Ronnie posted this on his IG story and deleted the movie premiere photo with Harriett.”

Another added: “This is not the first time he has done cryptic stories and archive and unarchived posts with her.

“Why make it obvious on socials? Just fight in private.

“I highly think their relationship will end on very bad terms with how clear it gets that it’s so unhealthy.”

A third shared: “Both wiped each other from their IG. How people do that so quick is beyond me.”

However, the photos in question were then back and restored on Instagram.

Since that speculation online, Harriett posted Instagram snaps of the pair enjoying a sunny holiday in Dubai, and captioned them: “Dreamiest week”.

They’ve also been enjoying time together in Ibiza recently, but have unfollowed each other while away.

It comes as the villa duo’s plans to move in together were recently revealed.

Harriett opened up to The Mirror, saying: “In June. Everything’s happening at once.

“We’re moving up towards London, which is exciting.

“It’s really close to Matilda [Draper], so we’ll be spending a lot of time with her and going back and forth.”

Last summer, the pair had originally split just weeks after previously leaving the villa.

However, viewers watched as Harriet and Ronnie rekindled their connection on Love Island: All Stars.

Although Ronnie was an original All Stars islander, his then-ex entered as a bombshell on Day 11.Having reunited, the pair fell short of winning after being “dumped” on Day 34 of 36.
