Back to the Future bully Biff Tannen — well, technically Thomas F. Wilson — looked unrecognizable during a recent outing.
Wilson, 66, stepped out in a casual navy blue T-shirt and dark cargo shorts and matching cargo bag for his Los Angeles outing in photos obtained by The National Examiner. It appeared he had been getting dirty with some arts and crafts as his shorts were splattered with paint. His icy white hair and reflective sunglasses nearly let him fly under the radar.
The actor-turned-comedian shares his life with periodic YouTube videos.
“I make films when I can. I also make paintings, songs and stories. I went pro at arts and crafts,” his bio reads.
In February 2024, Wilson shared a video reuniting with the original cast of Back to the Future.
“I’m famous because you remember me as an image on a screen,” he said. “Everybody remembers Back to the Future in the whole world.”
He opened up about playing the legendary bull and one of his classic lines, “I’m gonna kick your ass.”
“I don’t even like to say ass,” he said. “I say A double scribble. I never played a bully before. I didn’t wanna play a bully. I’ve been pushed around by bullies my whole life…I was pushed around by everyone everywhere.”
The ’80s teen classic recently celebrated its 40th anniversary with the cast reuniting for a fan convention.
“We come in there – and it’s a movie theater with gigantic Oscar statuettes framing the screen,” Wilson said at the Fan Expo in Dallas in May. “All sorts of directors and producers were there. All sorts of Hollywood power brokers, right? They played the movie and the place went crazy. Since that night, I have never seen a Hollywood screening go like this. The ovation lasted like five minutes.”
Wilson reprised his role of Biff (he also played Biff’s grandson Griff Tannen and great-grandfather Buford Tannen in the sequels) in Back to the Future II and Back to the Future III.
