Barbour is most famous for its waxed cotton hunting jackets, famously worn by the royal family at Balmoral Castle in Scotland. This particular model uses Sykoll-waxed cotton, which simply means that the cotton used is unshorn. Practically, customers report that it’s a bit softer and a bit shinier than Barbour’s standard waxed cotton.
