FC Barcelona signed a 3-year sponsorship contract with the American transportation company Uber, worth one million euros annually.
“Barca” and “Uber” officially concluded the sponsorship agreement – last Wednesday – in a ceremony held at the Spotify Camp Nou stadium facilities in the presence of Manel del Rio (General Manager of FC Barcelona), Felipe Fernandez Aramburu (CEO of Uber in Spain and Portugal), and Pau Cobarci (Barca defender).

The Catalan club and the American transportation company have concluded a 3-year partnership, which will generate 3 million euros for Barcelona.
Under the contract, Uber will appear on FC Barcelona billboards, and many of its cars will be painted in Barcelona’s club colors.
The company will also provide the possibility of placing the “Uber” logo on the club’s official cars, in addition to many other benefits, such as hospitality on match days and photo rights with the players.
The agreement also aims to improve fan mobility and traffic management in the vicinity of the new “Spotify Camp Nou” and “Espay Barcelona”.
The partnership also includes creating designated parking areas and promoting sustainable solutions, such as the all-electric Uber service in Barcelona.
To celebrate this occasion, a limited edition of 30 Cupra Tavascan cars designed in the club’s colors are available for delivery via the “Electric” service in the application.
Due to the proximity of the start of the Camp Nou matches on Spotify, Uber will provide several waiting and delivery points distributed around the stadium to facilitate the entry and exit of fans, and some of these points will be very close, one of which is only 80 meters away.
