During the press conference on December 1, The head of the Welfare Secretariat, Ariadna Montiel, announced the new registration calendar for the Women’s Welfare Pension and the Pension for Seniors programs, along with the list of documents required by the beneficiaries. In this note we tell you the details.

The registrations began yesterday and will conclude until December 13, according to the first letter of the pensioners’ last name. In order to register, you only need to go with your documentation to the Wellness Module closest to you, which you can consult in the following link.

Let us remember that last November, from the 3rd to the 27th, support was dispersed for already registered beneficiaries. At the moment, Montiel has not announced a payment schedule, which is where these new people would come in.

Las Pensions and Scholarships for Wellbeing are a set of social programs, promoted by the current Government of Mexico – headed by President Claudia Sheinbaum -, whose purpose is to provide economic support to the most vulnerable communities in the country.

What documents do you need to register for the Welfare Pensions?

According to information from the official Montiel account, when attending the welfare modules, according to the last name of the beneficiary, they must carry the following papers:

• Current official identification (INE, card, Inapam credential, etc.)
• CURP (recently printed)
• Birth certificate (legible)
• Proof of address (no older than 6 months)
• Contact telephone number (cell phone and home)
