BIG CHANGE: When Springboks will name team for second Test against All Blacks

The Springboks will be back in action this Saturday for a must-win showdown against the All Blacks to stay in the hunt for the Rugby Championship title.

South Africa slumped to an agonising 24-17 defeat in the first fixture between the sides hosted at Eden Park, where the team put up a poor overall display.

Come Saturday in Wellington, the Springboks will want an improved performance and ultimately a crucial victory against their fiercest rivals to keep alive their title aspirations. Anything less than that would not only be catastrophic for their Rugby Championship campaign, but also for their World Rugby rankings placement. And that in turn could prove disastrous for them in the Rugby World Cup draw later this year.

As has been the status quo for the past few years, the Springboks team announcements are on a Tuesday. However, in the lead-up to this past weekend’s clash at Eden Park, Rassie Erasmus pushed the team announcement back to Thursday.

But, it is interesting to note that this week the team will be revealed as early as Monday morning, at 09:00 SA time.

WHAT DO YOU THINK THE SPRINGBOKS TEAM WILL LOOK LIKE?
