Blossoming new couple suddenly splits in heartbreaking Emmerdale development

Kammy Hadiq (Shebz Miah) was devastated in tonight’s episode of Emmerdale as Belle Dingle (Eden Taylor-Draper) announced that she no longer wanted anything to do with him.

Shortly after receiving confirmation she was now officially divorced from Tom King (James Chase), Belle decided to download a dating app. Nicola King (Nicola Wheeler) then got incredibly carried away and swiped on Kammy’s profile for her.

After the notification pinged through, a giggly Kammy met up with Belle and started chatting, wondering how long it would be until they organised a date.

Belle told Kammy that Nicola had swiped on the profile and really, she wasn’t interested. Kammy headed off, quietly gutted.

In reality though, Belle was actually keen on getting to know Kammy, but her anxieties towards new relationships just got in the way a little bit.

It was a situation orchestrated by Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) of all people that pushed Belle into seeing that spending more time with Kammy was a good idea.

The two young characters aren’t officially an item at the moment, because Belle wants to take things slow. Fortunately, Kammy respects her a lot and is more than happy to move at her pace.

Last week, Belle and Kammy decided to attend a kayaking event at HOP. As they got ready, Gabby Thomas (Rosie Bentham) couldn’t help but watch them.

In the pub that afternoon, Gabby told Vinny Dingle (Bradley Johnson) about Belle and started to grow fearful. Gabby is currently under the impression that Kammy attacked Vinny when really, he was subjected to a homophobic attack by a man called Mike.

Vinny is framing Kammy because he’s terrified about telling Gabby that he might not be straight. He didn’t plan for things to go this far, and certainly didn’t consider the lie would impact other people in the village as well.

Gabby really wanted to tell Belle about the attack, worried that she was getting ‘love bombed’ by a man exactly like Tom.

She witnessed Belle and Kammy chatting again in this evening’s episode, and couldn’t resist not sticking her nose in. Gabby explained to Belle that Vinny was attacked by Kammy, and she was horrified.

Belle found Kammy and explained to him that she didn’t want him to be in her life anymore. Kammy tried to make Belle see that he’s innocent but until Vinny actually tells the truth, Belle will view Kammy as yet another violent individual.

Vinny’s created a right mess, when will he make things right?

This week, Vinny tries to apologise for the results of his actions, but Kammy is beyond it all at this point. Having got him in trouble and turned people against him, Kammy has had enough.

A hopeful Kammy tries one more time with Belle but it’s a closed door, she cannot take a chance having just freed herself of Tom.

Vinny’s guilt raises exponentially when he sees how gutted Belle is too. Will his conscience catch up with him? Or will Kammy feel forced to spill the beans?
