A young boy has died after being struck by a delivery driver yesterday evening in Wiltshire.
The boy, 10, reportedly ran out into the road when the van was making its rounds yesterday evening around 7pm in Tidworth.
Police, an ambulance crew, and Wiltshire and Bath Air Ambulance attended the scene, where the boy was declared dead.
His family are aware and are being supported by specially trained officers, according to police.
The driver of the van, a man in his 40s, stopped at the scene, but no arrests have been made.

One witness said: ‘The kid was playing and ran out. I don’t think anyone was to blame.
‘Some of the families around here heard it and ran out to help get the child out from under the vehicle.’
In a statement, Wiltshire Police said: ‘A child has sadly died following a collision with a van in Tidworth yesterday evening.
‘At around 7.05pm, we received a report of a collision in Oak Close, Tidworth, between a van and a pedestrian – a ten-year-old boy.
‘Any witnesses to the collision or anyone who may have footage is asked to contact the Serious Collision Investigation Team.’
Condolenseces for the little boy and his family are flooding social media.
A local woman wrote on Facebook: ‘This is heartbreaking. My love to all involved, including the van driver and emergency services.’
It comes after a 10-year-old girl died earlier this year when a car was driven onto a rugby pitch.
Poppy Atkinson was killed in a collision with a car at Kendal Rugby Union Football Club.
A 40-year-old man from Lancashire was arrested on the scene on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving.
In a statement, Poppy’s family said: ‘Poppy was the focal point of our lives, everything for us revolved around Poppy’s love for football.
‘Poppy touched so many lives, it was easy to see why, her energy, character, spirit and passion for football was infectious and touched huge numbers of people.’
