
A 14-year-old boy has been arrested after two reports of rape in a town in Surrey.
The first rape happened near Chertsey Bridge in March which police say has now concluded.
A second rape was reported to have happened near Chertsey Library on June 27 at around 7pm.
A 15-year-old girl was with a friend when they were approached by two males, one of whom later assaulted the girl.
Inspector Ian Nash gave an update and said: ‘I can advise that a 14-year-old male has been arrested in connection with this on-going enquiry.
