An overjoyed Qhawekazi celebrated on stage, waving to the crowd and embracing fellow finalists with visible emotion and joy.
Qhawekazi hails from Gonubie, Eastern Cape, and she is 24 years old. She holds a degree in Speech, Language, and Hearing Therapy from Stellenbosch University.
Her studies focus on education, mental health, and youth empowerment, demonstrating dedication to creating meaningful impact across communities.
MISS SA 2025 PRIZES AND MISS UNIVERSE EXCLUSION
As the new Miss South Africa 2025, Mazaleni will receive a prize package valued at over three million rand.
The prize includes a R1 million cash reward, a luxurious Mercedes-Benz GLC Coupé, and a stylish three-bedroom penthouse apartment.
Throughout her reign, she will enjoy exclusive opportunities, brand endorsements, and access to high-profile events both locally and internationally.
Also, Mazaleni will not participate in Miss Universe this year because South Africa’s pageant organisation has chosen to focus only on Miss World.
