Is there someone you think deserves to be crowned Bristol’s biggest name on campus? Well think carefully, because this title is highly esteemed and can only be awarded to one student and one student only. If you’re not sure what a BNOC is, it stands for Big Name On Campus, and refers to those students that everyone just seems to know, even if the reasons for this are not entirely clear.
Whether you’re at UWE or UOB, you’re sure to know someone who lurks at every house party you’ve ever been to, or who did something so feral one time that the mere utterance of their name generates hours of discourse.
If you already have someone in mind, get nominating! The form below will ask you for their name and a way of reaching out to them for further rounds.
It will also ask you for your reasons for nominating, so be sure to spill any stories of how they came to be a household name, or if they just have a certain twinkle in their eye that makes them so famous. Voting and nominations are anonymous, so don’t be afraid that your favourite BNOC will find out how obsessed you are with them.
Nominations will be open until Wednesday June 26th – don’t miss your chance to send your BNOC in!
Nominees will then go through several rounds of voting, so be sure to keep an eye out for posts and articles with more information.
