Bryan Cranston has struggled to keep a straight face when faced with Kim Kardashian’s controversial new ‘merkin thongs’.
The Breaking Bad star, 69, was a guest on the latest episode of The Graham Norton Show, which he appeared on alongside Kim, Sarah Paulson and Rachel Zegler.
During the show, the talk show host quizzed the reality star and entrepreneur on her range of projects, including her brand Skims and a recent product it launched.
‘Now this…there was some controversy with your thong…the ultimate bush,’ he explained.
Showing off a photo of the different colours of the thong – which come complete with hair on the front – Graham quipped it was like a ‘chocolate box’.
He then questioned ‘how the hell the idea come about’, with Kim recalling a past photoshoot when she was asked to put hair in her pantyhose to emulate ‘a 70s look’.
It was at this point Bryan lost it, leaning back against the couch and covering his face with his mouth before bursting into laughter.
As the studio audience howled at his reaction, Graham asked the actor if he was ‘feeling old yet?’.
‘Wow,’ was all he could manage to say.
Despite the confusion about the product, Kim revealed they were in such high demand, they sold out within 15 minutes of launching.
Earlier this month Skims announced the release of the ‘Faux Hair Micro String Thong,’ in a series of videos on TikTok.
One campaign advertisement was captioned: ‘Just Dropped: The Ultimate Bush. With our daring new Faux Hair Panty, your carpet can be whatever colour you want it to be.’
The campaign also included promotional video that featured a Blind Date-esque game show where women reveal if ‘the carpet matches the drapes’.
The underwear, which retails for $32 (£24) a pair, comes in 12 different colours.
Unsurprisingly, the product was met with much scepticism, with many questioning ‘who asked for this?’.
That sentiment ended up being echoed by Bryan’s fellow guests on Graham Norton after he decided to share a full-frontal photograph of his late uncle.
While being interviewed, he spoke about ‘always being naked’ and the ‘butt of the joke’ on his classic sitcom Malcolm in the Middle, which was recently announced to have filmed a reboot.
But delving a little deeper, Graham asked Bryan about nudity actually ‘running in the family, the not liking the clothes thing’.
‘My uncle Bob was a nudist. He was in his 90s when he passed away and he was still naked. I used to go and visit him in Florida, where all nudist communities are. I actually sent the producers a photo of my uncle Bob,’ he said.
The screen then cut to a photo of Bob sitting butt-naked on a chair, with his penis completely visible.
The guests and audience gasped before erupting into laughter seeing the uncensored snap.
‘I was not expecting to see that much of Bryan Cranston’s uncle on the BBC,’ Debbie posted on X.
The Graham Norton Show airs Fridays at 10.40pm on BBC One.
