Burger King is gunning for the crown with a new addition to its international menu: crispy, spicy chicken drumlets. Available now in the Philippines, these King’s Wings come in packs of four, six, or 10.
They’re perfect for game night snacking. Just don’t expect to find them stateside anytime soon. The drumlets are currently being tested at select locations abroad before any potential wider rollout.
What Are the King’s Wings?
Burger King may be best known for classics like the Whopper and Rodeo Burger, but the chain has plenty of chicken on the menu too, from the Original Chicken Sandwich to Royal Crispy Wraps and those munchable Chicken Fries. What it doesn’t have, however, is wings, a noticeable gap in a fast-food space where crispy, saucy wings are in high demand.
That’s where the new King’s Wings come in. While many wing fans swear by the crispier, more flavorful flats, Burger King is betting on drums. They pack more meat, are easier to dunk, and can be eaten one-handed. They’re the perfect match for your favorite BK dipping sauce.
So how do they taste? Crispy, spicy, and juicy. They’re everything you want in a chicken wing. For anyone tired of nuggets or chicken sandwiches, they’re a welcome change of pace. The only downside: you’ll have to book a flight, because for now they’re only available overseas.

Burger King: No Stranger to Chicken Wings
Burger King has dabbled in the wing game, but only internationally. In 2022, Burger King locations in Japan rolled out Yamitsuki Smoky Chicken for a limited time. These bites were covered in a smoky sauce that had hints of hickory, applewood, and seven spices.
Currently, there are several places you can score Burger King wings. In South Africa, you can grab six spiced chicken wings. Puerto Rico locations serve up five crispy wings that have a “pork-rind inspired flavor.” So, why not the U.S.? Wings are tough to pull off at burger chains. This includes higher costs, tricky prep, and plenty of competition from places that live and breathe wings.
While some say BK should stay in their lane, there are plenty of fans clamoring for the chain to bring these bites to the states. Until BK gives it a shot stateside, you’ll have to settle for homemade or go with specialists like Buffalo Wild Wings and Wingstop.
