Popular school comedy-drama Boarders debuted on BBC Three last year to much success.

It tells the eye-opening story of a group of London-based black teens who are selected to attend a private boarding school after receiving scholarships.

And after receiving an incredible Rotten Tomatoes score of 100% and impressing viewers, another term is on the way.

But the news is bittersweet for fans – as it’s the final series and will conclude the show’s storyline.

Announcing the news, the BBC also confirmed Jodie Campbell, Sekou Diaby, Aruna Jalloh, Myles Kamwendo and Josh Tedeku will all reprise their roles for the final series.

Alongside writer and creator Daniel Lawrence Taylor who returns as their mentor Gus.

Taylor will also make his directorial debut this series, directing the final episode.

Filmed in Bristol, Boarders series three sees the South London teens back at St. Gilbert’s and the pressure is on.

They’ve made it to their final term, exams are looming, and they’re determined to achieve big.

As they dream of life beyond St. Gilbert’s, a neighbouring school – which also happens to be the one Abby is now attending – provokes an intense rivalry causing chaos and jeopardising their futures.

With new enemies, love interests and broken friendship, our teens are forced to face a fresh batch of problems which threaten to trip them up at their final hurdle.

What will it take for our scholarship kids to come out on top?

Returning cast from series two also include Niky Wardley, Assa Kanouté, Tallulah Greive, Rosie Graham, Georgina Sadler and Zheng Xi Yong.

Writer, creator and executive producer Daniel Lawrence Taylor, says: “Boarders has been a deeply personal project for me, and it’s been incredible to see how audiences have connected with the characters.

Best BBC comedies

We look back at some of the best to ever grace the screen.

Fawlty Towers (1975-1979) – Only two series were made of the beloved institution. However, the cultural impact of the series starring John Cleese and Connie Booth spans decades. It follows rude and intolerant Basil Fawlty (Cleese) as he attempts to improve the reputation of his hotel.

Only Fools and Horses (1981-2003) – The show was crowned by some as the best British sitcom of all time by a TV poll in 2004. Seven series were broadcast on BBC until 1991 with additional sporadic Christmas specials airing until 2003. Sir David Jason starred as ambitious market trader Derek “Del Boy” Trotter whilst Nicholas Lyndhurst played his younger half-brother Rodney. Set in working-class Peckham in south-east London, it follows the highs and lows of the lives of the Trotters’, in particular their brazen attempts to get rich.

Blackadder (1983 – 1989) – Four series were made of the iconic show, created by Richard Curtis and Rowan Atkinson. Each series spans a different historical period as anti-hero Edmund Blackadder (Atkinson) tries to better himself in each society. Accompanied by his dogsbody Baldrick (Tony Robinson), trouble always ensues. A TV poll in 2004 found that Blackadder was voted the second-best British sitcom of all time

Absolutely Fabulous (1992 – 2012) – Jennifer Saunders and Joanna Lumley star as failing PR guru Edina ‘Eddie’ Monsoon and alcoholic fashionista Patsy Stone. The pair embark on heavy-drinking sessions and abuse drugs in a desperate attempt to stay ‘hip’. Eddie constantly chases bizarre fads and fails to lose weight whilst her disappointed and neglected daughter Saffy (Julia Sawalha) looks on.

Little Britain (2003 – 2006) – The premise is simple. A sketch show which features different British people from all walks of life that are engaged in all sorts of comical scenarios. Starring Matt Lucas and David Walliams, the pair created iconic pop culture characters. Viewers loved obnoxious council estate teenager Vicky Pollard, morbidly obese scrounger Bubbles Devere, slimming coach Marjorie Dawes, despondent office worker Carol Beer, disgraced politician Sir Norman Fry, of course the iconic Lou and Andy!

The Catherine Tate Show (2004-2015) – A sketch show starring the likes of Catherine Tate. She made iconic characters such as rowdy schoolgirl Lauren Cooper with her line ‘Am I bovvered?’. Other characters featured Bernie the nurse, the aga saga woman, complaining couple Janice and Ray, and of course her infamous ‘Nan’, Joannie Taylor. The last character herself spawned multiple specials and even a movie.

Gavin and Stacey (2007 – Present) The series tells the story of Gavin (Matthew Horne) and Stacey (Joanna Page). The pair embarked on an online and telephone romance for six months. But when they finally decide to be together properly, their friends and family get in the way. Ruth Jones and James Corden created the beloved show, which has been going for over a decade. The 2019 Christmas special was the most-watched comedy in 17 years and the most-viewed non-sporting event in a decade.

“From day one, I wanted to create something funny, honest, and proudly Black,

“And in this final term, I hope to finish their story as they face their final year with greater challenges, deeper friendships and the looming question of life beyond school.”

Studio Lambert Creative Director, Scripted Madeleine Sinclair says: “Daniel’s fearless and sharp writing, as well as standout performances from our cast.

“Have meant that audiences have truly embraced our characters and we cannot wait for everyone to see how their stories conclude – with humour, honesty, and a lot of heart.”

Lindsay Salt, Director of BBC Drama says: “Boarders has been a fun, sharp and timely addition to our screens since its launch two years ago, with star-making turns from its exceptional young cast.

“We’re so excited to return to St Gilbert’s one more time to bring viewers the conclusion of Daniel Lawrence Taylor’s hit comedy-drama.”

Fans can expect six brand new, 45 minute long episodes of Boarders when it returns to BBC.

We live in shadow of psychiatric hospital housing UK’s most dangerous killers – it’s so creepy not even the birds sing

IN an eerie rural village walled in by beautiful country fields, spooked residents lock their doors at the first blare of warning sirens, while “not even the birds sing”.

That’s because this creepy community exists in the dark shadow of one of the UK’s most notorious – and troubled – high-security psychiatric hospitals, whose grim alumni include Charles Bronson, cannibal killer Peter Bryan, and Soham child murderer Ian Huntley.

Since in 1912, the village of Woodbeck in rural Nottinghamshire has existed cheek by jowl alongside Rampton mental health hospital – one of three such high-security institutions in the UK holding patients with dangerous, violent or criminal tendencies.

Despairing residents – many of whom have worked in the facility themselves – claim their house prices are stuck in a rut thanks to the prospect of living doors down from deadly criminals.

Others, in light of a recent damning watchdog report, reserve their biggest fears for the overworked staff at Rampton itself.

One former nurse, who wished to remain anonymous, told The Sun: “It’s a dangerous s**thole. It’s understaffed and morale is horrific.”

They added: “I would say a staff member is going to get killed.”

Around 400 patients, who have been detained under the Mental Health Act 1983, are currently housed at the site.

Originally opened as an “overspill” for Broadmoor Asylum, it covers 190 acres and consists of 14 high-security main ward blocks and 14 secure “villas”.

One villager, who has lived there for 20 years, described the procedures in place for locals in case any of the inmates ever managed to escape.

“If anyone got out, they’d be going somewhere,” they eerily told a local paper. “There’s a warning system and it’d be common sense to lock your doors if that ever happens.”

Fellow resident Julie Edwards added: “We get fire engines going by because of the nature of who’s in there, but you just expect that of an evening.”

In recent years, Woodbeck has been voted the worst place in Nottinghamshire for community wellbeing.

The lack of shops, buses or a school mean many residents feel “stuck” there, and they say it has become “more cut off” over the years as facilities have been stripped bare.

The average house price in Woodbeck is £150,000, far lower than the £269,000 seen across the UK.

During The Sun’s visit, one woman who was interested in purchasing a home there said she and her partner knew it faced the hospital, but had decided to take a look anyway, tempted by the price.

However, the woman, who asked not to be named, said: “It’s the creepiest place I’ve ever been and I’m not coming back.

“There’s something really spooky about it and I don’t feel comfortable here at all.

“It’s a good price and it’s quite spacious but it feels quite surreal. I can’t even hear the birds sing.”

Local mechanic Mark Smith told a local news outlet he fears that living so close to the secure hospital “does deduct the value of houses”, and described how congested it can get with Rampton workers during the week.

One resident explained the houses used to be all owned by the hospital itself, but are now privately owned or rented, with many staff buying them “on the cheap”.

Local Michael Warriner, meanwhile, said many people who move to the village to work at the hospital don’t generally stay long.

“It’s just something to secure their CV and they don’t really take pride in the area,” he said.

‘Anxious, isolated and unsafe’

The hospital hit the headlines in May after a healthcare watchdog stated that the facility requires “urgent improvement,” following its rating of “inadequate” in January 2024.

The Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS trust that runs it was being probed over the care of Nottingham killer Valdo Calocane, the paranoid schizophrenic who fatally stabbed three people in 2023.

The Care Quality Commission (CQC) report said that between March 2024 and February 2025, staff submitted 777 incident forms where the reasons stated were “clinically unsafe staffing”.

The Sun spoke to a former nurse team leader who worked there for 11 years and still lives in Woodbeck, which was once filled with NHS workers.

The man, who wished to remain anonymous, claimed there is a culture of micromanagement and backstabbing, with staff severely undervalued and given little support.

The former staff member claimed there were situations that had been “swept under the carpet”, adding: “You have one qualified member of staff running back and forth between two or three wards.”

Martyn Farrow lives a stone’s throw from the hospital’s fences[/caption]

Martyn Farrow, who worked as a Rampton nurse for 12 years and then as a security officer for 13 years, lives a stone’s throw from the hospital’s imposing double fence.

The grandfather-of-seven, 69, says the hospital relies heavily on agencies, adding that staff play the system for an easier life.

He said: “There is no training like there used to be. When I first started working at Rampton, staff spent 18 months on a training course – now I’d be amazed if they did two days.

“There should never be one qualified person for two or three wards.

“In the past, some wards had 34 patients and six specialist staff per ward. It’s criminal mismanagement.”

The hospital was rated “requires improvement” by government watchdogs following an unannounced inspection in March.

While the CQC found some “clear improvements” had been made, it said the trust had work to do “to address staff shortages and support staff”.

Sometimes staff were found to be working alone at night, unable to take breaks, and reported feeling “anxious, isolated and unsafe”.

In January 2024 a coroner called for improvements at the hospital following the death of a patient who swallowed a crayon.

‘Child killer called me mum’

Villager Barry Woolley, 79, was a staff nurse at Rampton for 20 years and reminisced about the days when dances were held for patients and wards took part in football tournaments.

He said: “The patients came in and were told what they were doing, and a lot of the staff came from the forces. I think society is different now.”

Valerie Farrow was a nursing assistant in women’s services at Rampton with her husband Martyn, where she came to know Beverley Allitt, a former nurse who killed four babies and attempted to kill three others at a hospital in Grantham, Lincolnshire, in the 1990s.

The 77-year-old said: “If I hadn’t known what she’d done, I’d never have known. She was always all right with me.

“We’d talk about all sorts, nothing to do with her crimes. If they ever wanted to tell me what they had done, I’d listen, but I never asked.

“You have to put it all to the back of your mind.”

Who are the UK's worst serial killers?

THE UK's most prolific serial killer was actually a doctor.

Here’s a rundown of the worst offenders in the UK.

  1. British GP Harold Shipman is one of the most prolific serial killers in recorded history. He was found guilty of murdering 15 patients in 2000, but the Shipman Inquiry examined his crimes and identified 218 victims, 80 per cent of whom were elderly women.
  2. After his death Jonathan Balls was accused of poisoning at least 22 people between 1824 and 1845.
  3. Mary Ann Cotton is suspected of murdering up to 21 people, including husbands, lovers and children. She is Britain’s most prolific female serial killer. Her crimes were committed between 1852 and 1872, and she was hanged in March 1873.
  4. Amelia Sach and Annie Walters became known as the Finchley Baby Farmers after killing at least 20 babies between 1900 and 1902. The pair became the first women to be hanged at Holloway Prison on February 3, 1903.
  5. William Burke and William Hare killed 16 people and sold their bodies.
  6. Yorkshire Ripper Peter Sutcliffe was found guilty in 1981 of murdering 13 women and attempting to kill seven others between 1975 and 1980.
  7. Dennis Nilsen was caged for life in 1983 after murdering up to 15 men when he picked them up from the streets. He was found guilty of six counts of murder and two counts of attempted murder and was sentenced to life in jail.
  8. Fred West was found guilty of killing 12 but it’s believed he was responsible for many more deaths.

Valerie grew so acquainted with Carol Barratt, who murdered an 11-year-old schoolgirl at a shopping centre in Doncaster in 1991, that the killer called her “mother” and invited her to her wedding.

“A few got married in Rampton,” she said. “I enjoyed the work. I felt I was doing something to help, it gave me a sense of purpose.”

Now, as troubling questions continue to be asked about the facility, residents of sleepy Woodbeck are being left with much darker memories.

Becky Sutton, Chief Operating Officer at Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, told The sun: “Our colleagues are dedicated to delivering excellent care, often in challenging circumstances.

“We actively listen to feedback from them, working in partnership to make improvements to support our colleagues and our patients, enhance safety and build a stronger learning culture.

“We know there is more to do, and we’re focused on working closely with colleagues to make further improvements so we can meet the standards our patients and colleagues deserve.”

JoJo Siwa breaks down in tears as she leaves UK to head back home after spending three weeks with Chris Hughes

JOJO Siwa revealed she’s in floods of tears after leaving the UK following three weeks with her boyfriend, Chris Hughes.

The US pop star, 22, returned to London in May to perform a gig and enjoyed an extended stay with Chris, who she met on Celebrity Big Brother in March

A JoJo fan page shared a meme of a young girl crying in London on Instagram which the pop star reposted and added: “Honestly it was worse than this more tears hahaha.”

It was reminiscent of the first days of their romance when Chris jetted home from the States after a week-long stay, leaving JoJo in tears.

They’re confident they can weather long distance though. JoJo insisted she’ll never break up with Chris, 32, calling their relationship “earthquake proof”.

She told Capital Breakfast: “You know what’s interesting? As hectic as life is, and as much as that noise goes on, I feel like Christopher and I discovered this beautiful house together.

“And this house is earthquake proof, and it’s fireproof, and bulletproof.

“And you know, we discovered this house and found the keys, and we took the keys and locked ourselves in, and now it’s like… You know what I mean? I feel like that with myself, I feel like that with him.”

Jordan then quizzed JoJo on whether she had found her ‘happy place’ with Chris.

The US star gushed: “Oh my god, absolutely! We’re having the best time. He’s just the best!

“I was saying this to my parents the other day. Like, I’m decently nice; he makes me look like I’m mean!

“And I’m like known for being nice, that’s the thing. People say to me, ‘Oh, you’re so nice’.

“He makes me we want to be nicer, because he’s such a nice human. He’s the best egg in the batch! I could never get tired of speaking highly of him, he’s just the best.”

The pair spent time with Chris’s parents in the Cotswolds during her stay, enjoying time riding horses.

They couldn’t keep their hands off each other at times with Chris pictured kissing JoJo on the neck.

JoJo admitted she’s “shocked” at how close they have become in such a short period of time.

Speaking to Billboard, she said: “It blows my mind that 30 days ago I would never have even imagined that I would be friends with Chris Hughes, that’s the weirdest thing, much less be one of the closest people too me now in my life who I would die for.

“I think its a combination of the shared experience but also in Big Brother, you have no phone, no outside communication, no distraction, nothing.

“You only have each other. I love connecting and I love people and when someone comes into your life and you enjoy it, you can tell.”

Grandfather left £45k out of pocket after purchasing a caravan from Haven Holidays – ‘the worst decision I’ve ever made’

A GRANDFATHER has been left £45,000 out of pocket after purchasing a caravan from Haven Holidays.

Despite the vehicle being worth less than £15,000, spiralling costs have left him saying “it’s the worst decision I’ve ever made”.

Christopher Jeff, 60, bought the caravan in 2023 in Doniford Bay holiday park, Somerset in 2023.

He and his wife Ida, 56, had first visited 13 years ago before deciding to put some of his pension money towards the vehicle when they visited with their grandson Theo two years ago.

He told BPM Media: “We knew we couldn’t afford a brand new caravan but we found what we thought was a nice one that was a bit older for £14,859.

“I had to cash in a good chunk of my pension to pay for the caravan.

“I thought it would be worth it for some family holidays away from the rat race.”

The old caravan quickly began racking up additional costs, as Christopher spent more than £10,000 refitting the caravan he purchased as a leaseholder from Haven Holidays.

This included kitting the vehicle out with a microwave, fridge freezer and bedding – costing around £5,000.

On top of these costs, the couple were “encouraged” to buy side decking, a storage box and a bench, all of which came to just under £5,000.

Even the ground rent – a fee paid by leaseholders to freeholders – was more than Christopher and Ida expected.

This added another £6,000 in annual fees – a cost that has since gone up to £8,161.

Haven Holidays say that the purchase and license agreement clearly states the total site fees, the basis for fee increases, and the period the park is open.

Christopher says that Haven Holidays advised the couple to rent out the caravan to help cover their growing expenses.

However, in order to cover the thousands of pounds in ground rent, the caravan would need to be rented out every single week of the season for £450.

This was made even more difficult by the fact that Haven Holidays were reportedly offering cheaper rents on their own caravans.

Christopher said: “Haven were undercutting us by renting their own caravans cheaper all season long – sometimes £150 for a week in the off season.”

As a result, the couple only managed to rent the caravan out for five weeks in 2024.

With much of the annual cost unaccounted for, Ida’s income from working in sales was used to cover the shortfall.

Christopher estimates that the caravan costs £1,500 a day of use in real terms, as 30 days onsite has cost the couple £45,000.

He said: “It’s just too expensive to own one of these units. We have only holidayed in it for ten long weekends.”

The couple faced further financial insecurity after a national grid failure damaged a lot of electrical appliances at the park, leading them to be told their boiler would need replacing.

However, after three months and three visits from contractors, they were eventually told they didn’t need any repairs as they had a water heater, not a boiler.

A spokesperson for Haven Holidays say that they worked “as quickly as possible” to fix issues and that this was at no cost to Mr Jeff.

The costs have become so unbearable that the couple has tried to sell the caravan – but this too would lose them money.

While they paid nearly £15,000 for the vehicle, they are yet to receive an offer for more than £3,000, with Haven Holidays taking a 15% commission of any sales.

Mr Jeff said: “Nobody wants to buy a caravan and take on the commitment of paying over £8,000 for nine months of caravan access.

“Especially when you can’t rent it out and break even because its cheaper for guests to go directly through Haven.”

In a desperate bid to resolve their financial problems, they reached out to European Consumer Claims who have taken on the case with the hopes of getting the couple their money back.

CEO of ECC Greg Wilson said: “When we first started looking into holiday park consumer abuse we were aware that there were issues. However the sheer scale of wrongdoing was shocking even to us.”

The company is working with leading consumer lawyers to seek financial compensation for people who have been swindled by unexpected fees.

Haven owns a number of holiday parks around the UK, primarily found along the coastline, including in Yorkshire, the Lake District, Scotland and Cornwall.

A Haven Holidays spokesperson said: “Haven is committed to ensuring full transparency at every stage of the buying and selling process and clearly communicates with owners the different options available to them – including the total site fees for that year, the basis for subsequent increases and period the park is open during the year – as well as any associated terms and conditions.

“The decking was installed at Mr. Jeffs’ request; however, the other items mentioned (including the storage box, microwave, fridge freezer, bedding, and bench) were not purchased from Haven, and we are therefore unable to comment on them.”

Darts champion Luke Littler will be pairing up with his close pal and popular internet personality, AngryGinge, for the hit programme’s biggest signing so far this year.

It is yet another foray into the TV world for Luke who has seen his stardom rise over the past 18 months to become one of the country’s most talked-about sportsmen.

Last year, he appeared as the special guest on Freddie Flintoff‘s ITV revival of popular darts programme, Bullseye.

Luke will make his first appearance on Celebrity Gogglebox this Friday alongside regular stars including Nick Grimshaw and Richie Anderson.

His co-star, Morgan Burtwistle, better known by his YouTube name AngryGinge has amassed a legion of followers since shooting to fame thanks to his infamous live streams.

It will be his second stint in reality TV after appearing alongside Made in Chelsea’s Olivia Bentley and Love Island star Chloe Burrows in the first series of KSI’s hit reality show, Inside.

In a video to confirm their appearance on the show, AngryGinge said: “Me and The Nuke have joined the Gogglebox family this Friday on Channel 4 at…”

He then threw to Luke to confirm the time of 9pm in the light-hearted clip.

Earlier this year, we reported how Luke was set to star in the second series of Sky’s show about arrows stars, called simply Darts.

His future with ITV was also revealed after his Bullseye success.

The reboot of the cult gameshow pulled in almost 7million viewers.

A TV insider said of a deal for the new series: “Luke will be getting deals thrown at him from all quarters, but ITV are confident that he’ll be tempted.

“This deal could turn him from being a darts star into a bona fide TV star.”

Inside Littler's massive rise

LUKE LITTLER has taken the darts world by storm since exploding onto the scene at the PDC World Championship at the beginning of the year.

The Nuke reached the final on his Ally Pally debut at just 16 years of age – smashing records along the way.

He has then gone on to win a host of PDC events and the Premier League title – which he claimed at the O2 Arena by beating world champion Luke Humphries in May.

He also finished his first season in the World Series as the No1 ranked player.

He has joined Jude Bellingham on the Forbes 30 Under 30 Europe list.

And the teenage titan even had to snub an invite from the WWE.

The Sun exclusively revealed that Littler is plotting to create a fitness empire.

He is also cashing in away from the Oche thanks to an Instagram side hustle.

And he’s even the face of a brand new cereal.

But he is newly single after splitting from girlfriend Eloise Milburn following a 10-month relationship.

Half of new parents believed pregnancy myths that turned out to be FALSE – which ones do you think are right?

FOOD cravings and bump size are among the most common myths expectant parents believe.

But half of parents believed myths during pregnancy that turned out to be false, according to new research.

Two pregnant women, one holding a piece of cake and the other an apple.
Getty
Myths aren’t facts. And they definitely aren’t a substitute for understanding your own body and the right professional advice, says doula Carly Sandland[/caption]

By just looking at the bump and analysing pregnancy cravings, the challenge is to decide if it’s a boy or a girl.

According to these commonly believed myths, carrying the baby high in the womb means it’s a girl, while lower means a boy.

And salty or sour cravings point towards a boy whereas those craving sweet things are carrying a girl.

It comes after research, commissioned by Vitabiotics Pregnacare, found 47 per cent of new parents originally believed well-known myths during pregnancy that they later realised weren’t all true.

A poll of 1,000 parents of children aged 0-10 found 11 per cent of those believed having sour cravings during the first trimester indicated you were expecting a boy.

While the same percentage (11 per cent) thought carrying the baby high up in the womb meant you would be welcoming a little girl to the world.

And 12 per cent believed that experiencing an influx of spots on your skin also indicated a female.

But 79 per cent feel at least a few of the superstitions about pregnancy that they’d heard about and believed in ended up coming true.

As a result, 51 per cent of those who had heard of a superstition used this to try and predict their baby’s gender.

With 44 per cent of these trying the ‘swinging ring test’ – where you tie a ring to a string and swing it over the belly to see which way it moves.

Carly Sandland, doula and founder of The Doula Club, which matches pregnant women with doulas to provide support to families during pregnancy, labour, birth and postpartum, said: “As a doula, I’ve heard every pregnancy myth going.

“Carrying high? Must be a boy. Bad skin? Definitely a girl. Craving savoury food? That’s obviously a boy.

“It’s amazing how confidently people will make these calls – even from complete strangers in the supermarket.

“What this research shows is how common these myths still are – and how many people believe them, even just a little.

“But why not enjoy the guessing games? Have a laugh at the wild ones, and let people guess if they must. But don’t let any of it carry more weight than it deserves.

“Myths aren’t facts. And they definitely aren’t a substitute for understanding your own body and the right professional advice.

“If something feels off, ask questions. If it doesn’t sit right, trust yourself.”

Parents-to-be who have heard about pregnancy myths also believed severe morning sickness would suggest a female baby, while mild sickness pointed towards a boy (14 per cent).

While 10 per cent thought jumping up and down vigorously after sex would stop conception happening.

It also emerged 30 per cent of those who tried to use a superstition to guess the baby’s gender had a go at the ‘key test’, where the expectant parent is observed picking up a key and if they opt to grab it by the narrow end, it means a girl is due.

And while 53 per cent of new parents asked friends and family for advice about their baby’s arrival, 42 per cent turned to Google – and 23 per cent searched social media.

But 13 per cent of parents who had heard about myths or superstitions claim they influenced their expectations of pregnancy ‘a lot’, according to the OnePoll.com figures.

A spokesperson for Vitabiotics Pregnacare added: “Of course, not all of these tales are rooted in fact – but they can still be surprisingly persuasive.

“While these stories are usually fairly harmless, it’s always best to check anything that may be concerning or unusual with a midwife or medical professional.”

“But I am very excited be here. Whether you support the club or not, you have to respect the trophies that the club win.

“No matter what, that has been always there for me. I have always admired players and clubs that win trophies.”

Moment Fiat 500 with boot hanging open does DONUTS on grass & speeds backwards as 60 masked youths spark daylight chaos

THIS is the moment a battered Fiat 500 races BACKWARDS up a street and does donuts on a patch of grass after broad daylight chaos erupted.

Riot cops were called in to tackle the chaos, which saw a police car’s windscreen smashed in and hooded yobs on bikes taking to the streets.

Four arrests have been made following the disorder, including a 16-year-old girl who has been charged with assaulting a police officer.

She has been released on bail and is due to appear in court at a later date.

Shocking footage shows a white Fiat 500 speeding down the road with its boot door wide open.

In the video, the car – which had a missing bumper and an open boot – can be seen reversing down the road.

After pacing up and down the street, the vehicle sped onto the pavement and began doing donuts on a local lawn.

The Fiat was driven by a group of masked youths, who can be seen dangling out of the car’s windows.

Meanwhile, a black car tried to pass through the chaos but was forced to repeatedly stop due to the Fiat’s erratic driving.

Bins had also been laid out across the road, making it even more difficult for vehicles to pass.

In a separate video, several youths can be seen stalking the street on motorbikes and hanging from another black vehicle.

The yobs also set fire to a vehicle and smashed the windscreen of one of a cop car.

GMP Superintendent Marcus Noden said: “This sort of behaviour will not be tolerated and we took robust and appropriate action.

“In response to this disorder we have dispatched a large number of officers to the scene, and we now have a dispersal order in place until 2pm tomorrow afternoon (Thursday 12 June 2025).

“A large number of officers will be remaining in the area over night as a precaution.

“We are aware of speculation online that this incident is linked to immigration, this is categorically incorrect.

“There are currently no ongoing incidents in the area, however, tensions remain heightened, and we have robust plans in place, should we need to respond to any further incidents.

“I would also like to thank members of the public for their patience and support while we continue to deal with this incident.”

The GMP confirmed that one girl had been arrested for assaulting a police officer, as several hooded figures through bricks at officers.
