Corfu hotel hits back Brit gran who moaned about lack of ‘English food’…& says she even made complaint about the WEATHER

A CORFU hotel boss has accused a Brit gran for “fabricating complaints” after she moaned her stay was a “nightmare” thanks to “no bacon, sausages or chips”.

The OAP was accused by the hotel of fishing for compensaion – and the manager even claiming she had blamed the staff for bad weather.

Susan Edwards, 69, from Westerhope, Newcastle upon Tyne, said her seven-night stay at the Lido Corfu Sun Hotel on the Greek island was the “worst holiday” she’d ever been on.

She told Chronicle Live there was “no English food” on the all-inclusive menu and she was “sick to death of looking at rice” by the end.

The grumbling gran was also dismayed at only being offered chips “one day out of the whole lot” during her £750pp week-long stay.

Now the hotel’s manager, Makis Triantafyllos, has hit back – alleging Susan’s complaints were a ruse to money back.

He told The Sun: “From the very beginning of her stay, [Susan] demonstrated clear intent to fabricate complaints in pursuit of financial compensation, going as far as to complain about the weather.”

He alleged she demanded to know from the staff: “Why is it raining?”

The manager claimed Susan’s attitude had been “sarcastic and dismissive” to staff who did their best to accommodate her.

The hotelier also fiercely defended the menu, saying the food service is “generous and diverse, offering fresh salads, fruits, hot and cold dishes daily”.

He fumed that Susan’s account of the food was “entirely false and disrespectful to our culinary staff”.

And as for the “no English food” dig – Makis said the Sun Hotel offers “world-renowned and beloved Mediterranean cuisine” with other options tailored to guests’ preferences – including those from the UK.

The spat continued over the issue of room keys.

Susan said she’d asked for a second key for her daughter because she herself gets tired in the afternoons and likes to pop back for a lie down.

She said the hotel told her: “No, too expensive.”

However, Makis said Susan was given a second room key but that it was “revoked after it was used solely to keep the electricity running – leaving the air conditioning on 24 hours a day, even with open windows and the room unoccupied.”

This behaviour, he explained, “violates our sustainability and energy policies”.

Susan also took aim at the hotel’s facilities, claiming there was no entertainment at the site, which is “stuck in the middle of nowhere”.

She said trek down to the private beach was too steep to navigate.

The hotel said the beach is “approximately 300 meters away, accessible via a path that is clearly described”, and that it “hosts three weekly evening events by the pool“.

But it was the food and drink that most riled the bee in Susan’s bonnet.

She said: “On a morning you could have toast, a hard-boiled egg, or something in sauce.

“For breakfast there was mozzarella and sliced tomatoes. There was no hot bacon or sausage.

“We got chips one day. One day out of the whole lot.

“There was fish, sardines and rice – I was sick to death of looking at rice.

“There was pasta and salads, none of this was marked [labelled].

“One night there was a Greek night and they had kebabs, I couldn’t eat that.”

The 69-year-old has to be careful with what she eats, as she has a condition called ulcerative colitis – a long-term inflammatory bowel disease.

Makis said Susan’s pre-occupation with poking holes in the services “clearly indicated that she was focused on securing compensation, rather than enjoying her holiday”.

Hotel staff made “consistent and respectful efforts to accommodate her”, he said.

Makis added: “Targeting a hotel with excellent ratings (8+/10 on Booking.com and 4.3/5 on Google) and many loyal, returning guests, based solely on questionable accusations, is both unfair and damaging.”

After receiving Susan’s complaint, a TUI UK & I spokesperson said: “Our priority is to ensure customers have the best possible holiday experience, so we are sorry to hear that Mrs Edwards felt dissatisfied with her holiday.

“We have been in touch directly with Mrs Edwards to come to a resolution.”

The travel company offered her £100 in holiday vouchers – but Susan claims some people were offered more after complaining, and so declined the olive branch.

Nathan Aspinall outlines darts retirement plans with current schedule ‘absolutely obscene’

NATHAN ASPINALL has sensationally revealed that he plans to retire from darts by the age of 45 — if not sooner.

The 33-year-old said the current “obscene” scheduling has been a major factor behind his decision.

Nathan Aspinall has vowed to call time on his darts career in the next 12 years

Aspinall is ready to call time on his career within the next 12 years.

The Stockport ace told SportsBoom: “45 and I’m off. I’ve said to my partner if that’s me, it is 45.

“If it’s earlier than that, and we start making golfers’ money and I’ve got £30 million in the bank I’ll be off sooner.

“But I don’t think it’s going to happen that quick. But 45 is when I’d like to bugger off.”

One of Aspinall’s biggest frustrations is the relentless PDC schedule.

He’s been vocal about the lack of downtime and the pressure on players trying to manage both form and wellbeing.

He added: “Compared to even ten years ago. The calendar is absolutely obscene.

“For us to take a weekend off, I have to pull out events so I’m losing ranking money because I just need a few days off.

“And I’ve done that over the last couple of weeks because I was in a tight position in the Premier League, I really wanted to make the playoffs.”

Aspinall made the playoffs after beating Michael van Gerwen in the quarter-finals of Night 16 in Premier League Darts.

He narrowly lost to Luke Humphries in the semi-finals at the O2, before the world No1 beat Luke Littler in the final.

But Aspinall then beat Damon Heta 8-6 in final to claim his second European Tour title of 2025 on Sunday.

He scooped the £30,000 prize in Leverkusen after becoming the first double winner of this year’s Euro Tour.

The Asp recently revealed that there’s an army of Littlers waiting to breakthrough.

He was a guest at Tottenham star James Maddison’s golf day at The Centurion Club with darts pal Joe Cullen last month.

Loose Women’s Kaye Adams breaks silence on ‘sleepless nights’ amid cuts

KAYE Adams has broken her silence on the chaos at Loose Women and admitted she has had sleepless nights over the cuts to the show’s airtime.

ITV announced dramatic changes to their daytime TV schedule last month, axing more than 220 jobs and making cuts to shows including Loose Women and Lorraine.

Loose Women is affected by the dramatic changes[/caption]

Speaking on her podcast How to be 60 Kaye said she felt as though ‘the rug had been pulled’ from underneath her.

Kaye, 62, confessed: “It did come out of the blue.

“I didn’t anticipate it, which is probably stupid in retrospect. You get into a sort of rhythm of life.

“I had a couple of sleepless nights I have to say, because it’s just like the rug’s been pulled from under your feet – what has been familiar.”

Under the changes, Loose Women will be slashed and will be on air for 30 instead of 52 weeks.

Lorraine Kelly’s morning show will also be cut to 30 weeks, and will reduce from an hour to 30 minutes.

Kaye, who is one of Loose Women’s main anchors, said: “It’s going to have an impact. Lots of people will lose their jobs completely which is terrible. It’s a huge change.

“But I gave myself a talking to and I listened to my own advice for once – change is hard, but it can be good.

“The past is a trap, don’t fear the future – I’m telling myself all these things. And maybe this is the nudge that I needed to make some changes in my life and I’ll just have to go with it.”

It has been rumoured that the pool of Loose Women panellists will be reduced as part of the cutbacks, which will be introduced from January.

So far none of the hosts, including big name stars Ruth Langsford, 65, Denise Welch, 67, Coleen Nolan, 60, and Nadia Sawalha, 60, know if their livelihoods are at stake.

It is not yet known whether younger panellists, such as former Love Island contestant Olivia Attwood, 34, and influencer GK Barry, 25, will be favoured over veteran stars including Janet Street-Porter, 78, and Jane Moore, 63.

Kaye, 62, who joined the Loose Women panel from its first series in 1999, said: “It’s well documented of course. They’re having to make cuts and it will affect Loose Women and to be perfectly honest we have no idea at this point what is going to happen.”

The popular presenter revealed that she has been planning to downsize from the family home she shares in Glasgow with her husband, tennis coach Ian Campbell, since their two daughters Charly, 22 and Bonnie, 18, moved out.

She said the Loose Women changes might give her the opportunity to concentrate on the move.

Speaking on the Midweek Catchup episode of How to be 60, out today, she told co-host Karen McKenzie: “I’ve been going on and on I’m going to downsize and make changes to my house.

“Maybe it’s going to give me a bit of time to focus on that and really spend some time on it.

“Funnily enough, I agreed ages ago to do this programme where they get people like me who are ready to get rid of big bits of furniture and downsize and they take them to an auction house and they sell them off and they film it.

“They asked me to earmark bits of furniture and different things that I was prepared to get rid of and so I agreed at the time, because I thought this is going to give me the impetus to really get going on the down-sizing.”

ITV's daytime TV schedule changes in full

Good Morning Britain will be extended by 30 minutes to run from 6am to 9.30am daily.

Lorraine will run from 9.30am-10am, on a seasonal basis for 30 weeks of the year.

During the weeks Lorraine is not on air, Good Morning Britain will run from 6am to 10am.

This Morning will remain in its 10am-12.30pm slot on weekdays throughout the year.

Loose Women will be in the 12.30-1.30pm slot, again on a seasonal basis for 30 weeks of the year.

The changes will take effect from January 2026.

Kaye joked that she hadn’t yet told her husband. “They’re coming with a truck and I haven’t told Ian. For the last week I keep going to start the conversation with him – ‘by the way, there’s a film crew coming and I’ve told them that they can have that sideboard, that chair, that desk.’ I haven’t told him yet!

“But if I didn’t tell him and he came back tomorrow night, he wouldn’t notice. He might if the sofa was gone or the television, but that’s about it!”

Kaye set up the How to be 60 podcast three years ago with friend and former BBC colleague Karen McKenzie. The weekly podcast features interviews with big name guests including Alan Cumming, Michelle Collins and Shane Richie, as well as conversations about how the guests view and approach the big 6-0.

The midweek catchup episode features chat and banter between the two co-hosts as well as reflections on their lives.

Kaye, who also presents a daily show on BBC Radio Scotland, added that she was now trying to put a positive spin on the Loose Women cutbacks, rather than worry about them.

She said: “So, all change. It’s good for us. I’m going to embrace it.”

Kaye is the third Loose Women panellist to break cover and speak out about the impact of the cuts.

Last month panellist Nadia Sawalha choked back tears as she said: “What’s been brutal, absolutely brutal, over the last week, honestly, I feel tearful about it, is that hundreds of people… are going to be made redundant out of the blue.

“These are all the people behind the scenes that support us in every way.”

And Sun columnist Jane Moore hit out at the ‘snooty reaction’ to the announcement of the cuts.

I found out my man had sex with Bonnie Blue – people say we ‘forget those 1,000 men are real dudes that walk among us’

A YOUNG woman has been left heartbroken after allegedly discovering her now ex-boyfriend was just one of more than 1,000 men that took part in Bonnie Blue’s record-breaking sex marathon.

Stevie Kennedy, who is now describing herself as a “hot new bombshell” after recently dumping her ex, claimed that her partner at the time had sex with the controversial OnlyFans model, 25, earlier this year.

Back in January, Bonnie Blue boasted she had broken the world record for having sex with the most men in one day, after she bedded 1,057 blokes in just 12 hours.

The disgraced blonde, who has previously been branded “predatory” for romping with teenage lads, invited “barely legal and barely breathing” men to take part in the London event, one of which Stevie claimed was her now ex-boyfriend.

Posting on social media, the brunette claimed she “had a bad feeling” that her boyfriend at the time was being unfaithful, so decided to go through his phone.

But the content creator who normally “respects” people’s privacy, said she was devastated when she realised that her boyfriend at the time had cheated on her with Bonnie, whose real name is Tia Billinger.

In a short clip which has since gone viral, Stevie filmed herself holding back tears and shaking her head, as she got candid on her boyfriend’s alleged infidelity.

Stevie wrote: “This is your sign to go through his phone.

“I found out my boyfriend of five years cheated on me with Bonnie Blue.

“He was one of the 1,000 men in 24 hours.”

Not only had Stevie and her boyfriend at the time been together for five years, she claimed, but they they were even “planning to get married” too.

As a result, Stevie slammed: “Never talking to a male ever again.”

The TikTok clip, which was posted under the username @steviekennedyy, has clearly left many open-mouthed, as it has quickly racked up 6.8 million views.

Not only this, but it’s also amassed one million likes, 8,789 comments, 29,600 saves and 83,100 shares.

Who is Bonnie Blue?

Born in May 1999, Bonnie – whose real name is Tia Billinger – grew up in a small Derbyshire village, and attended the Friesland School in the village of Sandiacre.

She has two half-siblings – a sister and a brother – who have always remained out of the public eye.

She never knew her biological father, and considers stepfather Nicholas Elliott her dad.

Bonnie also became something of a dance star in her local area, and competed in the British Street Dance Championships alongside her sister back in 2015.

She also had a part-time job at Poundstretcher as a teenager.

After school, she began working in recruitment.

In October 2022, Bonnie married Oliver Davidson, who she had started dating when she was just 15.

Once they were married, they moved to Australia, where Bonnie continued working in recruitment.

However, it was in Australia that she decided to pursue a different line of work, and tried her luck as a ‘cam girl’ – crediting Oliver for giving her the confidence to enter the adult entertainment world.

She quickly made a name for herself in the industry, and was soon making £5,000 a week.

But while her work life was going from strength to strength, her relationship was crumbling, and she and Oliver split after almost a decade together.

She moved over to OnlyFans following her cam girl success, and once again found fame on there.

She quickly became a favourite on the site, especially thanks to her “niche” of sleeping with young male students – such as when she bedded 158 students during Nottingham Trent University’s freshers week in September 2024.

Bonnie is now estimated to be worth £3 million, and makes around £600,000 a month on OnlyFans.

Her family are also supportive of her work, with mum Sarah Billinger even claiming she’s her daughter’s PA, and helps clean up after Bonnie’s events – as well as handing out condoms to young clients.

In January 2025, Bonnie claimed to have broken the world record for the most amount of sex in 12 hours, after apparently sleeping with 1,057 men from 1pm to 1am at a secret London event.

Social media users were horrified by the woman’s claims and many eagerly rushed to the comments to share their thoughts on the situation, with numerous users urging her to “get tested” and “sue” her ex-partner.

One person said: “I would never feel clean ever again.”

Another added: “Cheating is bad enough but cheating in THAT way is INSANE, hope you’re okay girl.”

A third commented: “Coming from a man, if he did that, you’re better off without him.”

Four red flags your partner is cheating

Private Investigator Aaron Bond from BondRees revealed four warning signs your partner might be cheating.

They start to take their phone everywhere with them

In close relationships, it’s normal to know each other’s passwords and use each other’s phones, if their phone habits change then they may be hiding something.

Aaron says: “If your partner starts changing their passwords, starts taking their phone everywhere with them, even around the house or they become defensive when you ask to use their phone it could be a sign of them not being faithful.”

“You should also look at how they place their phone down when not in use. If they face the phone with the screen facing down, then they could be hiding something.”

They start telling you less about their day

When partners cheat they can start to avoid you, this could be down to them feeling guilty or because it makes it easier for them to lie to you.

“If you feel like your partner has suddenly begun to avoid you and they don’t want to do things with you any more or they stop telling you about their day then this is another red flag.”

“Partners often avoid their spouses or tell them less about their day because cheating can be tough, remembering all of your lies is impossible and it’s an easy way to get caught out,” says Aaron.

Their libido changes

Your partner’s libido can change for a range of reasons so it may not be a sure sign of cheating but it can be a red flag according to Aaron.

Aaron says: “Cheaters often have less sex at home because they are cheating, but on occasions, they may also have more sex at home, this is because they feel guilty and use this increase in sex to hide their cheating.  You may also find that your partner will start to introduce new things into your sex life that weren’t there before.”

They become negative towards you

Cheaters know that cheating is wrong and to them, it will feel good, this can cause tension and anxiety within themselves which they will need to justify.

“To get rid of the tension they feel inside they will try to convince themselves that you are the problem and they will become critical of you out of nowhere.  Maybe you haven’t walked the dog that day, put the dishes away or read a book to your children before bedtime.  A small problem like this can now feel like a big deal and if you experience this your partner could be cheating,” warns Aaron.

Meanwhile, someone else wrote: “Sue him for endangering your health. Your prince is out there, be glad you found out before the wedding instead of after.”

Not only this, but one woman advised: “Go get tested immediately girl.”

At the same time, another user sighed: “I forget that those 1,000 dudes are real people that walk among us.”
