It was kind of obvious that Adolescence was going to make it to the top spot, right? After dropping in March, the world felt like it stopped turning after everyone binge-watched the four episodes. Written by Stephen Graham and Jack Thorne, it followed the Miller family, whose lives were turned upside down when their 13-year-old son, Jamie, was accused of murdering his female classmate. The show proved to be so powerful in sparking conversations about protecting the next generation from harmful online content that UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer supported calls for the show to be shown in schools.
