COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) – Shortly after 9am Saturday, Columbia County deputies responded to 4580 Colonial Road in reference to a shooting.
Upon arrival, they spoke with the victim, 72-year-oldDavid Narvaez.
Narvaez told authorities that he was shot in the foot by his son-in-law, Jean Paul Penaloza, 31.
Penaloza is in police custody.
