In this regard, deputy Víctor Hugo Lobo pointed out that the metropolis has faced the problem of planned obsolescence of an infrastructure network that has been in existence for more than 50 years.
He explained that the 2025 Expenditure Budget allocates more than 53 billion pesos to the mayors and the local Constitution establishes that at least 22 percent must be allocated to investment in infrastructure, however, there is only information related to its exercise updated until the month of July.
“We need the 16 municipalities, which have co-responsibility in the matter, to contribute to this important effort by equitably and efficiently allocating the budget to this area,” he mentioned.
