A Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins star who fell at the final hurdle of the show has revealed what went wrong,

Drag artist Bimini Bon-Boulash – whose real name is Tommy Hibbitts – narrowly missed out on passing the Channel 4 series, exiting in the final episode alongside Love Island star and fitness entrepreneur Adam Collard.

Former Premier League footballer Troy Deeney, ‘TV personality’ Michaella McCollum and X Factor singer Lucy Spraggan were the only three celebrity recruits who passed the course.

However, discussing their exit, Bimini has taken to social media to shed light on a moment that ‘didn’t sit well’ with them.

Attaching pictures of the episode when they were removed on Instagram, Bimini discussed their failed interrogation process, in which the recruits were given a fabricated cover story to present to interrogators.

While Bimini stuck to the story, Michaella said she couldn’t remember anything, which saw Bimini be instructed to pour freezing cold water over her until she told the truth.

However, as Bimini did not want to cause discomfort for their fellow recruit, they eventually told the interrogators that they were with the British military, which saw her be removed.

Discussing this moment, the 32-year-old wrote on social media: ‘I went onto @sas_whodareswins to give it everything/body, mind, and spirit.

‘I pushed hard, I smiled through the chaos, and I stayed true to myself. In the end, what I failed on and would be seen as my weakness, I would call my strength.

‘I can’t stand aggression, violence, or seeing people bullied or hurt. It’s just not in me.

‘I am gutted to not have passed selection but I’m walking away with my head high and I’m SO PROUD of @lspraggan @michaella_mccollum @t_deeney and @adamcollard ❤️❤️❤️’

Responding beneath the post, Spraggan commented: ‘You are forever just the best human I’ve ever met. What a privilege it is to have done this with you.’

McCollum also wrote: ‘Aw, I love you!! Your one of the best parts of doing that course ❤️’

Meanwhile, @joej0221 wrote: ‘You’ve represented and inspired the entire queer community… that’s more than winning ❤️’

Ahead of Celebrity SAS airing on TV, Bimini spoke to Metro about how an ‘important’ moment was cut from the series.

‘I had a conversation with Conor, Adam, Troy, myself and Lucy [Spraggan], and the men said they don’t know how to express emotion without anger,’ they said.

‘They realised it’s actually sadness — but they don’t know how to be sad without being angry. That’s all they’ve ever been taught: to “man up.” We deconstructed it in a progressive way that would be really beautiful to see.’

Instead of this conversation being aired, the show focused on extremely challenging moments, such as when Bimini was gloved up and put in the ring with Traitors winner Harry Clarke, who was told not to pull any punches.

‘That was so out of my comfort zone,’ Bimini said. ‘I don’t like physical violence. I don’t like the idea of war.

‘So that challenge was what I was most worried about — which is interesting, because that was the one a lot of the other guys were most excited about.’

Other celebrities who competed in the show include Rebecca Loos, Strictly’s Tasha Ghouri, Love Island star Chloe Burrows and professional boxer Conor Benn.

Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins is available to stream on All 4 now.
