Now more people can raise a mug and give back veteran charities.

Tom Hanks founded Hanks for Our Troops. The food and beverage brand that gives 100% of its net profit to military organizations. Currently, the company supports Bob Woodruff Foundation, The Headstrong Project, Hire Heroes USA and Student Veterans of America.
Recently, the company reimagined its coffee offerings. Currently available on its website as well as on Walmart’s website, the line includes both ground coffee and coffee pods.
Hanks focuses on “good products for good reasons.”
According to founder Tom Hanks, “We started this company with only one mission in mind… to create a business with great products that support Veterans and their families. This is a way to give back to those who volunteered their lives to serve our country.”
While the message is mission critical, the coffee needs to deliver delicious flavor. Currently, Hanks offers three ground coffee flavors. They are Medium Roast, Decaf and Dark Roast.
The Dark Roast is the one that deliveries the bold flavor that matches rousing “Reveille” that starts a military day. With a slightly smoky finish, the full-bodied coffee demands attention. Whether drunk before morning PT or enjoyed as a mid-day pick-me up, it is the flavor that satisfies.
In addition to the ground coffee, Hanks has five flavors in the pods line. They are Medium Roast, Dark Roast, Decaf, Salted Caramel and Chocolate Turtle. While the first three flavors are similar to the ground coffee option, the flavored coffees feel more like a dessert.

For example, the Chocolate Turtle flavor captures the combination of creamy chocolate, buttery sweet caramel and roasted nuts. With this particular flavor, coffee drinkers know what they will get every time they brew a cup.
