After an excruciating eight episodes, the three winners of Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins have been revealed.
Former Premiere League footballer Troy Deeney, ‘TV personality’ Michaella McCollum and X Factor singer Lucy Spraggan proved they had what it takes to pass the course over the other 10 celebrity recruits.
Love Island star and fitness entrepreneur Adam Collard and Drag Race UK contestant Bimini Bon-Boulash came so close but didn’t make the final cut.
Tonight’s episode saw the final five recruits handed over to a team of interrogators for what is always the most intense phase of selection.`
They were given a story which they had to keep close to their chests in the event of capture. The interrogators used physical and psychological punishments to try and extract information to try and break each contestant down.

Revealing who had come out on top, Chief Instructor Billy Bellingham said: ‘This course is designed to push you through barriers you would never imagine. To strip you back, physically, mentally and emotionally.
‘This course is brutal. Our world is brutal. It will always come down to one question that we will ask ourselves. Would we have that person stood next to us.
‘Number 3, 4 and 10. Congratulations, you have all passed this course. Well done.’
Despite needing surgery after tearing her vulva, Lucy was unstoppable on Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins, with impressive both physical and mental determination.
‘I couldn’t believe it, to pass, wow, incredible. I felt so emotional,’ she said after her glory.

‘It was about 9 million times worse than I thought it was going to be, and I thought it was going to be bad. I really did! It’s utterly traumatising, but unbelievably rewarding. It’s a once in a lifetime thing because I will never do that again!’
Michaella, who was arrested for drug smuggling in 2013, called the experience ‘traumatising’ but urged everyone to give it a go. She said: ‘Forget about all the horrible and difficult stuff, those type of opportunities don’t come very often in life.
‘And you’ll really get to see a completely different version of yourself, and the real, true you, which we disguise and we compress with everyday life, we forget who we really are, so do it!’
Troy thought he was among the recruits to fail once he saw the final three.
He enthused: ‘What an experience! When I saw it was just me, Lucy and Michaella, I thought we were the ones who hadn’t made it. What a relief! Unusual word, but cathartic, that’s how I’d sum it up. Brilliantly mind-boggling.’
Other big names which competed this series included Rebecca Loos, Strictly’s Tasha Ghouri and The Traitors winner Harry Clarke, who was axed from the process for ‘cutting corners’ despite being the only cast member to have previous military training.
Celebrity SAS: Who Dares Wins is available to stream on All 4 now.
