Celebrity Traitors fans have spotted a secret tactic that the Faithfuls can use in tonight’s episode to detect who the Traitors are.
Last week saw two thrilling episodes as Charlotte Church and Joe Wilkinson were murdered by Traitors, while Line of Duty star Mark Bonnar and Stephen Fry were banished at the roundtable.
The drama has been so intense that it was revealed earlier this week that BBC bosses hired mental health experts to look after the ‘welfare’ of the stars of the celebrity edition.
This came after fans were convinced that Alan Carr has sealed his fate after making a ‘fatal mistake’ at the roundtable when asked by Joe Marler about his shield.
Now, however, viewers are hoping that the Faithfuls can use a tried and tested method to banish their first Traitor tonight.
Speaking on the faithfultopodcast, two fans revealed how there is a tactic that the Faithfuls can use ‘if they are clever’ and have watched the international shows previously.
At the end of last Thursday’s episode, Nick Mohammed, Lucy Beaumont and Kate Garraway were put at risk of going home after they learned they would either be coming face-to-face with the three Traitors or host Claudia Winkelman.
Discussing all the possible scenarios, the fan said whichever Faithful is not murdered should ask their fellow contestants a detail about what Claudia was wearing to see whether they are indeed Traitors.
Speaking in a TikTok video, they said: ‘[They should ask] Jonathan what broach was Claudia wearing?
What does Metro think?
Our TV reporter Milo Pope shares his thoughts on what he thinks will happen tonight…
To say that I am excited for tonight’s episode is a huge understatement.
I’ve barely picked my jaw off the floor from last week after Alan Carr’s horrendous blunder at the roundtable when he forgot that he had a shield.
My heart hopes that the Chatty Man can worm his way out of this situation, as he has done throughout, but my head says that even if he doesn’t go tonight, his days are numbered.
Ted Lasso star Nick Mohammed is such a threat to the Traitors because of the way he is thinking outside the box.
His suspicions of Cat, along with Alan’s blunder, and the already present suspicion around Jonathan Ross, could be a game changer for the Faithfuls.
I think everything pins on Nick and his partnership with Joe Marler. If the Traitors decide to banish him, it’s game, set and match.
If he survives, I think the very stable house that the Traitors have built so far could come tumbling down…
‘Trick question. She wasn’t wearing a broach. Jonathan will say, oh, I think it was a golden bird.
‘Jonathan’s a traitor. You’ve found one. Easy as that.’
The other co-host of the podcast added: ‘Because he wouldn’t see Claudia because he’s a traitor. That’s what they need to do.’
Whether or not the Faithfuls choose to adopt this tactic remains to be seen, but times are getting desperate inside the Scottish castle.
Following the banishment of Fry, the Faithful gang set a very unwanted record.
This series marks the first time that a whopping ten Faithful contestants have been ejected from the series – by either murder or banishment – before a single Traitor has walked out the door.
The closest to it came in the first civilian series of The Traitors, when eight Faithful met the same fate before the traitorous business student Alyssa Chan was banished in a roundtable.
